I agree that the rockets could be used for war. However, if they were used for war, I think Breath of the Dragon may be some other force, but not sure what it is if not nuclear fission. I don't think it would be fusion, since it does not produce deadly radiation wastes. The radiation wastes fusion makes is short lived and the radiation is not powerful enough to penetrate the skin. Had to get out the fan for this chapter. Jarred is certainly a frisky young man as well as daring. He adds a lot of hot spice to their sex. I wonder if he will join them again when Jarred goes to college in a few years.

Hot and steamy chapter, and we still don't know the name of the 18 yo with raging hormones. Mark and Jarred have both caught his interest. I suspect he might learn from Mark, then teach Jarred what he's learned.

This is a very riveting murder mystery. It would seem the author has experience, or did some in depth research that lended an authentic feel to the story. It is an excellently written story well worth reading.

I think March 17th would be a fun day for Charlie, Kippy, Rick and Adrian. Think of all the mischief they could get into!

I'm kind of like Geert and want to explore, open boxes and push buttons in the tower to learn more about the ancients. We know there was a war, but I don't think the rockets were used for that. If they had, there would have been something dangerous and destructive like the Dragon's Breath machine. I also noticed that the unlocked doors were probably residences with no skeletons and everything intact. It sounds as if people left in a hurry to find refuge somewhere else. With quick transportation and the huge warehouse space by the rocket launchers, I suspect they ended up there. I wonder what else that place was set up to do. Was their civilization advanced to the point that humans could be placed in very long term stasis? Could the ancients out somewhere in the galaxy and even now some are still being sent out into space? Hope your enjoy my speculations Geron! 🤔

Otis is making some progress with Hudson considering how shy Otis is. The attraction between the two is very physical. Both Otis and Hudson have some ideas to reconcile before that attraction gets more than just steamy. Otis now has two people who are giving him dating advice. Missy knows Otis well enough to check for understanding, knowing his innocence often leads to misunderstanding. Hudson is very conflicted at this point as he tries to do his job and at the same time protect the man he sees as the perfect boyfriend he would want from the evils of the world. I am happy that Otis is finally feeling confident to take risks.

There are many towns famous for their Christmas celebrations, but none of them can beat Twombly. Rick's Uncle Bob has an invitation to Twombly to perform his magical tricks for charity. Kippy has a skwishy feeling they must go when Rick invites them along. This is a very warm and magical journey that will light up your Christmas!
