I watched the highlight while sitting at the bank. The Leafs outplayed Tampa and kept the pressure on them the whole three periods!

Lessons Learned was a powerful rebuke of an abusive person, yet a great declaration of the win over that abuse. It is my favorite of the poems. The haiku were all beautiful, but the ones that touched on nature were very endearing and special for me.

What a great chapter! Rusty's first time bottoming was a revelation for him. He not only enjoyed it immensely, but didn't have any hang up about it afterwards. It seemed to be common knowledge. Jonathan's impromptu brunch was a celebration and reward for Rusty. Jonathan is very protective of Rusty and Matty I think. He definitely made sure no one said anything to disturb the growing relationship between Rusty and Matty. It's obvious that the rest not only respect and like Matty, but they also want to welcome him into the group. The competition between the Xpress and SHIT will pose a problem for Matty, but it also might make things easier for Matty and Rusty. I can see Matty quickly get past any problem he might have in a second or two, then go gunning for whoever is trying to hurt Matty. Brilliant dialogue told the story very well.

Pizza party to celebrate after the games is so typical of teens. They did win and deserve the party. I know that Frodd is very competitive and feels low on the totem pole, so taking something to enhance his power is not surprising. However, consorting with the vamps to get it just seems too strange. The ambush of Rafe left Zoel and his companions running for their lives. It seems Rafe is very dangerous even when disabled. What I don't understand is why Bones was there.

Both Caden and Ludwig are foolishly acting in ways that threaten their survival. They need to get the basics right first. Set boundaries of behavior and responsibility before they do anything else. Right now the story's main characters are acting more like crazed duel antagonists than rational beings. There are far to things we know about what is on the island, its geography and its weather.

I think you will enjoy the poems produced by this anthology. I'm lucky to have the time so I'm all caught up except for one poem. I appreciate the work you and the other administrators did to create this opportunity for poets and readers. Thanks @Valkyrie!

Like a piece of fine jewelry, The Scenic Route is the center stone surrounded by many sparkling haiku gems. These enchanting and diverse poems speak of many things eloquently.

Great beginning to the new story Ronyx! Seth's mother and sister would be difficult to live with the way they team up on Seth. A mother finding a D an acceptable grade doesn't sound like a good parent. The fact that she obviously favors Stacey is also not OK with me. Like @weinerdog, I want to find out more about the boy in the hospital sharing a room with Craig. Craig sounds like self important asshole to me. I suspect he will cause all sorts of problems for Seth. @Summerabbacat, You did a great analysis of the characters in the story.

The Scenic Route was beautiful. The Haikus were so expressive and intense with emotions. Well done Gary! I hope to see more of theses.

I almost forgot to mention. Korean gay males are so far in the closet it is almost impossible to find them. In Thailand, even straight men will occassionally go gay for a while.

The dancing will be no problem. Thai men know how to dance provocatively and gracefully. As for the singing, That's more of a genetic thing, but Chiang Mai does have a higher than average level of great male singers due to the three major universities here having outstanding and famous Fine Arts programs. So you see, I have resources fitted to find you a man. Yes you do need a man!

Good plan for the asswipes. I got up early today, and am doing well. I will be going on errands this morning, cleaning the condo and working on the tax returns later. Tonight is another birthday party to attend. Aod's sister's party. It's going to be a long day. Thais do love to celebrate, so it will start about 8 pm and go on until 2 am at least. We're going to somewhere for dinner, then out dancing at a disco, then afters here at our place.
