I like that you are thinking about a masters degree. It is a big boost to your career, and opens many opportunities for you. As for international teaching, do it for a while at the beginning or as long as you want at the end of your career. There are many down sides for a life long career in international schools. The two most important are these schools often have a big pay gap and are private schools. Another big problem is that since most teachers switch from country to country, there are few schools that offer a pension. I have one good friend who spent all her life teaching, but now has to live on a very small pension from the US Social Security. She has to live with her daughter's family in order to survive.

Matty hadn't even arrived at the party and Rusty was all worked up. Matty is about half way thru the dance card Rusty made up when Jamie, a player, shows up. Rusty is ready to pop the top off the thermometer! I think that Matty knows Jamie will want to go further than Matty wants, but Matty probably wants to see Rusty's reaction. Matty can take care of himself, so I don't fear for Matty's lose of his v-care. I already know from Rusty's last though, "Absolutely no way", that Rusty will cockblock Jamie. The only question is how spectacular will be the show? -
Armand and Colin are still adding kids to the family. I think GG scolding Armand about the impending separation as the original 4 to off to college is needed. Armand will be a mental wreck for years to come with all the kids leaving as they enter adulthood. I did love the part where the boys sat as Armand painted Nonna and reminisced about her. Also, I loved the part where they hung her portrait in the Geno and Angelo's home.

This story is both an adventure and a mystery that is quite unique. It could be a sci-fi or supernatural tale, but I'm not sure if it is either. It is well written and has a compelling storyline. A young man awakes in a park not know who he is or where he is. He soon learns his tasks are to save lives. It is his last task that is the most dangerous as he works to save one last life. This story has a lot of thrills and chills. I highly recommend reading this unusual and entertaining story.

A very good ending to a wonderful adventure and mystery. I enjoyed this well written and unique story. Thanks for sharing this tale with us.

I keep thinking on the exchange between Jase and Swift before Martinez shot Swift. Also, how Jase feels sorry for Swift. It seems like both of these men are unwillingly conscripted into a war by some unknown power. They are like cannon fodder that are expendable, with no choice but to follow their orders. This has been a very uniquely told story. Will Jase ever find out who or what caused him to fight in this war? Will we find out why Jase was chosen over millions of other humans? @Libby Drew you write a great mystery that when solved still leaves a bigger mystery behind.

@mrbossmant got it right! I am pleased that Jase saved Lucas and is now released from his tasks. However, I was also correct that there was another big plot twist. Jase has left. I was hoping that Lucas and Jase would stay together after and raise Macy together. Since this chapter doesn't have the usual review option posted and @Libby Drew indicated four more chapters after chapter 16, this is not the last chapter. Maybe Jase will be back and appear in an epilogue? Here's hoping.
