    Justice

I have enjoyed this mystery very much. You kept me guessing the whole time. I never expected that Jack and Trevor were lovers, or that it was Trevor in the well. I look forward to your next story. I will just have to bide my time in Pern.

    Catering

As a dedicated reader, I agree 100% with what Comicality has said in this essay. Of course, I was laughing at myself most of the time. When I really started to read stories on GA, I got caught up in the ability to comment directly to the writer and committed all of the obnoxious actions described. @Headstall's stories were some of the first I read, and I know that I was a pain in the neck always second guessing him, requests for more, and other ridiculous behaviors. Most of Gary's works were completed by the time I read them. As a reader, I affirm the statement that readers will respect writers who do not cater to the readers. I try hard to be more like this now. You know you are a good writer when readers like this are empathic to a well written character and story. Readers' comments are their attempt to involve themselves. You did that, so congratulations. I would like to suggest that instead of catering to readers, involve yourself with them in the comments that tease, joke and play with the reader and keep them on edge. A good example of the is how @kbois and @Mrsgnomiehave running battles between themselves in the comments of each other's stories. Readers get involved in comments that can get so outrageous that no one takes them seriously. Readers do remember their stories and the fun, not the fact their ideas were not used.
  3. Drew is a person??? I thought he was an autocratic god-emperor! Or something like that with hairy feet.😉 I have a Carnac moment coming on... Prediction: Drew Question:
  4. I'm sure Drew will regret his decision to nuke this giant symbol of male sex. However, most Thai cities have one of these, so there are plenty more for him to enjoy. Khon Kaen even has a park full of them..
  5. Another great essay! When I read this it felt as if you were talking directly to me. Your personal voice expressed a deep love for your art. There were so many excellent points that I know will help me appreciate the stories I read even more in the future. I look forward to reading your next post to this blog. Thanks again.
  6. I love knowing the history of words and had to look this up. It originated as luscus, a latin word for poor eyesight or blinded in one eye. In the early 19th century the French used the word to mean squinting, the way people shape their eyes to see better if they have poor eyesight. They then gave it a figurative meaning also for people and things that are disreputable. When the English adopted it use shortly after, they only used the second figurative meaning since they did not need the literal meanings.
  7. Hey All, Has anyone had news on @dughlas to share? I'm missing him.
  8. Tribute to Mondays:
  9. Happy Monday Cassie! Sorry I missed you last night! Hope your weekend was fun.
  10. Good Morning Albert!
  11. Hi Bucket! I hope your Monday has started the week well!
  12. Hi Gary! It's a bit late, but Happy Father's Day. I enjoyed hearing about your day with the family. ❤️
  13. Surat Thani? Too bad. They had a massive city penis pillar that was covered in gold. Destroying World Heritage Sites is insane! More proof for updating the list.🤪
  14. Hey Spike! I working on getting you promoted up the insane list to at least the level of crazy or maybe even eccentric.
  15. Happy Monday Everyone! In honor of Gary and his granddaughter:
  16. Howdy Drewdy As long as you brought it up, it is old and needs updating. Prime example is you and Spike at the bottom. Spike has definite demonstrated that he's not a bottom kind of person. You have sent an insane amount of nukes at the rest of us since that time.
  17. Hello Clo, I was also amazed he held off for 24h, but not surprised as he quickly blew up absolutely nothing here. I wonder what he hit?
  18. Hi Page! You are in the minority here. Good thing for Max and Morgan. I went to a Japanese BBQ grill last night. Not only was it great food, but a great view from the 5th floor roof top restaurant. I had a great side dish that I am sure Max would like. It was sesame cooked jellyfish. I was sharing with my friends, but ate most of it. We ordered a second serving it was so good. Of course I can already hear the Eeews!

    Chapter 25

And @kbois will need him alive in order to redeem herself with @Mrsgnomie in some future story.

    Chapter 7

Too funny! At least we know Giaco is crushing on Dani now!
  22. I found it on this webpage. It is filled with some of the most inappropriate ads in the last century. Clo will get very angry at how these ads pictured women. There are some that promote baby products that were downright dangerous. Read with caution. It's guaranteed to raise your blood pressure. Especially Clo's Ads that would never work today!
  23. Glitch is a newer American word from the 1950's. I remember them well from my childhood on a black and white box. My favorite glitch was Max Headroom.
  24. Hi Page! Sorry it to so long to answer. I've been out in the kitchen preparing several servings of beef stew to freeze up for quick dinners. We got some root veggies in the market yesterday at a reasonable price. That's rare in Thailand, since things like rutabagas, turnips and parsnips don't do well here. How is your weekend going?
