No problem with the posting Gary. I'm sure all of us understand and will read and comment on Chapter 14 when it posts. I appreciate the notice since the chapter posted did seem to have a large time gap. Usually, your cliffhangers don't have gaps like that. I am glad that both Reid and the doctor were there when Jubal arrived. Jubal was definitely in shock and they were there to help. By what the doctor said, Jubal's quick thinking to cauterize the wounds saved Lukus' life by stopping the bleeding and also may have prevented the wounds from getting infected. Lucas was very lucky that there was no damage to any organs. Looking forward to the reposted chapter in two days.- 54 comments

Burning a house to get rid of a demon seems extreme. Since it is done, I hope the 'cure' was effective. It was strange that nothing was left of the house, and the grass was growing where the house once stood. I can't figure out why Coop wants Eric to stay unless it is to provide transportation to take Pete to the hospital. I wonder if we will find out what has been happening to Pete while he stayed in the house. I also think it was a bad move on Coop's part to use sex with Eric as part of his plan.

By the sound of Geron, Coop should be looking for a Hoodoo witch for information. I also believe the house to be possessed by a demon or a curse.

I understand why many people hate daylight saving. Living up north with a lot of cloudy skies most of the year, it didn't bother me much. It meant that I had more hours of sunshine during the season that had the least amount of clouds and rain. Living here, there isn't any daylight savings but I still have no problem because of all the sunshine even in the rainy season.

Hi Bucket! Hope you are keeping cool. The rainy season is nearing an end here, and temperatures will drop some. That means my aircon bill will be lower for the next three months. The bad thing is it will be heating up in February and the beginning of the smoky season.

I do understand and agree with what you have said. It just seems to be cruel to break up the loving relationship the two brothers have. I was hoping that with Matty to support him, Rusty would be able to easily stand up to Roy.

Hi Silent! Justin wrote the original to this story while in school. He's come back to it as a more experienced author to do a rewrite. The original saga (105 chapters) is being written in at least two parts, maybe more. This story gives the background of Greg, however, the second book, Re-Forging starts immediately from the end of this book and is probably what you are seeking. So far, Re-Forging is on chapter 4 and has a lot of what you are interested in reading. Hang in there and I hope you will be glad you did.
