I agree Bucket. It was completely boring for most of the two weeks I sat waiting in the courthouse. I did get selected as a juror for one very short case. It was interesting because I and the other jurors clearly saw the prosecuting attorney didn't intend to win the case. He only wanted the defendant to make statements in defense of himself that would help the prosecuting attorney convict the real criminal in the case in the following trial. The defendant had to repeat his testimony or face charges of perjury after his trial. The trial only lasted two hours with an hour for lunch between those two hours. 🙄

As usual, I loved the comments and had some great laughs! Now we know that the whole family is behind Perry and Kyan, I have no worries. I suspect if Perry asked Kyan to marry him Kyan would would snog him to death saying yes after every kiss. The only one that is slowing down the action is Perry. At least Perry's hesitance is only because of his love for Kyan and desire not to push Kyan. Of course, Kyan could ask Perry so I guess someone needs to kick both of them in the ass to get things resolved. BTW, if I were an uncle to the kids, Noah would be my favorite. He's like the perfect blend of Kyan and Perry if they could have a biological child of their own. The rest of the kids are wonderful.

Love the pics MrsG, but other than the guy with the hat (whom I assume is Perry) I can only guess that the next two are Kyan and Max. The bottom three are complete puzzles to me. Can you clue us in?

I think Caleb and Max would be great together, but also think they would be star-crossed lovers with @Mrsgnomie and @kbois stacking the deck against their union. MrsG won't write off her heartthrob to another character, and kbois has some devious plan to redeem and hopefully heal Caleb.

I good friend told me the story about her sick 3-year-old son. Even sick he was bouncing around the living room naked on a bouncy ball when he got a very bad case of diarrhea. He started laughing and bounced all over the room. She might disagree with which is more diabolical.

Good Morning Clo! I am doing well as is Aod. Aod's father kept us busy during his visit. I also got behind on reading. Add in a few doctor checkups (everything is still OK and working) plus some projects and I couldn't do much more than push the react button here on CotT2. I sure have enjoyed a lot of the posts you have shared about what's happening in your life. Those kinds of posts are my favorites to read.

First and foremost this is a great chapter. It may have been an emotional change for Ronin, but the result greatly impacted Connor. Connor now knows the truth about himself and his family. The biggest question left is why is he considered the next Alpha of the pack. Carol and Danny's connection to the pack was well described. I have no problem with the fact that Carol and Danny will be separated for a while, since Carol needs to move on and is leaving Danny (quite an independent and spunky young boy) with his family and pack. I am looking forward to finding out what Connor's wolf looks like. As for how often you post, I think you should consider posting at a rate that you can consistently maintain. The only thing that distresses me much is a story put on hold. I often lose information over an extended break, then must either reread the story or drop it altogether.

Going home after sunset has a very different feel, and you captured that feeling in your writing, Gary. Even though it was dark, your description of the cabin's details reminded me of some of the old cabins I had seen and slept in when young. Nails for pots, pans, coat hooks and other things were common even then. Lucas is definitely sending Jubal some big hints and Jubal would probably love to take him up on that. Jubal's cautious nature is in the way now. Jubal will be a great help, and what Lucas is offering is mighty tempting to Jubal. I definitely think Jubal will stay.

I am anxious for the next chapter. This one was an evil twisting wrench you threw at Matty and Rusty, Laura. I do hope that Maddox, Jonathan and maybe August will help get Matty and Rusty back to a good place.

I also don't think the Jealousy will last as long as Maddox's. Maddox's experience shared with Matty would probably calm Matty's jealousy. However, the reason Rusty chose August to go with him will still get Rusty in deep shit trouble with Matty.

This chapter was filled with the energetic excitement of kids contemplating peanuts, fishing and the soon-to-arrive friends from Italy. Armand and Colin's adult sons are working responsibly and hard to maintain their family's shared goal of protecting the children. Pierre was not comfortable and felt alone in France, and I think he will stay with Colin and Armand. He and Charles seem to be getting along well. I hope they will support each other as friends.

I love how Dakota is expanding the family. Their relationships are based on love, not blood. What surprised me was that Dakota doesn't think Shinálí knows about him and Naiche. That makes me wonder whether Shinálí are blood relatives. By Shinálí's actions and words, I doubt there would be any problems if he did.

There are so many interesting things in this chapter. The first is the strange guy bowing and saying, "Yes, Your Excellency". It appears Scott's father is a very high-up leader, something like an ambassador. The second is James telling Greg that "Our people fall in love quickly." to explain that he and Donna fully accept Scott and Greg's relationship. The 'our people' does imply that Scott's family is somehow different from other humans. The last interesting part was the Truth or Dare game without spinning the bottle and starting out nude. Very hot! Wished I was there with the guys.

I love the way Jed and Trudy set Kyan and Perry to sleep together. They all but said you two go f..k yourselves silly tonight! A lot of funny comments by the kids, but I also loved these two scenes. and Kyan really doesn't stand a chance, especially with #SteeleFamily ready at a moment's notice to push the two of them together. Great chapter!

A technicality doesn't mean she was not a busybody good doctor. I loved her role as Hetty, the housewife turned detective. Hetty was a delightful change from Hyacinth that proved to me Patricia Routledge was a great actor as well as a comedian.
