Chapter 32 Game Changer
Defiance19 commented on Headstall's story chapter in Chapter 32 Game Changer
Yay Warren! I feel good for him as it's something positive and worthwhile he's done. The gratitude of the pack is a great thing for him.. I just wondered if it were all humans or if it had to be something specific in them, which made the silver pulse. Because the pack used to go into town, so wouldn't there be talk of the odd person feeling the silver pulse. And just how did Reznik link it to the wolves? At least the pack has a heads up, and they figured out the copper.. Still anxious for their excursion, but they will be somewhat protected.. Toby and Kellar, I could read about their antics all day.. Great chapter Gary.... -
Oh, thank you Cole. I appreciate you reading my little story. This was a kind and very encouraging review. Thanks so much..

Ahh, Carlos.. You never fail to amaze.. This was the perfect close out for this book. You did a great job with Travels. The lives of young men, their parents, uncles and mentors, and the people they encounter have filled me with endless laughter, intrigue and food for thought. I am looking foward to Walls... I know there's a lot more to come.. Also, I want a front row seat when CJ makes his political bid! Great job, my friend...
-
Bloody hell tim.... I will be thinking of you and wishing you the best as you grapple with this decision... Love you..
-
Aw Cynus... This is great.. You deserve to be in love and happy. 5 days, 5 months, if it there it's there. Clearly it's there! Hold on to that.. Good luck..

I agree that the people who do this probably do view life and death with a different lens. I can't imagine that their lives are not in some way altered by it all. 'A beautiful poem' Thank you Puppi.... Your reading of this and review are much appreciated.

Prompt 538 - The Zombie Part 3
Defiance19 commented on Valkyrie's story chapter in Prompt 538 - The Zombie Part 3
Aww.. I thought he was a goner but you turned it around. Loved how you pulled it all together. I don't drink soda but I'm considering stocking up on Pepsi Max. You know, just in case.... Great job Val. -
Gah- Parker! I don't know if I can feel sorry for this guy. I don't hate him though. I'm tempted to say that his tears came a bit too late. But, is it too late if he is starting to really get it? Maybe the best thing to happen to him is Lee, and that Marc is listening to Lee. Maybe that kindness is the thing that will put him back together? Right his wrongs? Put him on a different course than what he's been on. Tears probably mean he's feeling a little remorse. Sorry for himself and what he's done maybe. But people cry all the time. I want to be hopeful for him even though I can't be sorry for him.. You're telling a fantastic story..

Chapter 31 The Stuff of Fairy Tales
Defiance19 commented on Headstall's story chapter in Chapter 31 The Stuff of Fairy Tales
I want so badly for Warren to do well. So much trust is being placed in him. For his part, he is eager to do well and succeed. He knows his triggers so the cars will keep him busy, unless he goes Reznik hunting too.. Now he has the responsibility of a job, a mate and a home. If he can keep it all together, he will do great. Looking forward to the new and improved Warren. All of of this is soo good. I can't possibly last, so what's coming Gary.. Great, chapter.. -
Oh, Lisa. I should feel a little badly, but I am going to take it to heart that you were so moved. It means I was successful in clearly sharing my thoughts.. Potter's Field is a rather sad place. Thank you for another wonderful review and your kind words. They mean a lot..

Poetry is open to individual interpretation, so it's sometimes hard to review. I'm glad though that what I was hoping to convey, came through for you. Thank you for reading Arazon (yay!) Much appreciated.

It's a wonderful compliment to hear that you were right in there on the second read.. Thank you Adi.. It feels great to have your support.

Was that Terry trying to poach Dave? By the time Dave finds Jae, and he will, I think they will both be ready to forgive each other with very little fuss. Broken down and tired will help that. What worries me is what could happen to them in between that time. Either could be captured, fall into trouble. We know there aren't good people out there.. Im always hoping for the best though..
-
Well crap... Last thing you want to have happen after such a good time.. That had to rock Dave but he's in good hands. Daddy is a good guy, and I'm sure it troubled him too.
-
I don't think I could do it. I imagine they feel but must have a strong countenance cause like you say it's draining.. Thank you for reading this Northie, and for your kind review..

Aragon, thank you so much for reading this. I'm glad you liked it. Skinny mentioned the same thing about Brian being true to himself before he found out. I think I couldn't let him suffer twice he needed someone like Nate and well now, he has him to lean on. This was a lovely review.. Thank you.
-
I think I can guess where you might have picked up on Dad. I don't think anyone would have guessed Carl either.. Brian might have gone to ruin had he not had Nate, so I'm glad too. Thank you Skinny. I'm glad you enjoyed this and I appreciate you leaving a great review.

I don't know what to react to first. That David and Twoey got married or the cool fact that they met Andy and Zander.. What is even happening.. I never would've guessed the former.. I'm glad Shawn will be okay. I hope that Martha fully convinced CPS enough that they get him out of there. This gave Chuck a way to leave his mark after all. And in a very impressive way. I wonder how he'll rope David in. I'm assuming there's a plan that's why he's going down there. Well done SkinnyD, I'm still a tad shell shocked..

A great chapter Tim.. It's so good to read about the boys again. As good parents, we always want to protect our kids. It's instinct. Sometimes though, it's hard to know when to let go and play a supporting role. How else do we if know they are capable and confident and self aware as we tried to raise them. Russ made a great point about Isa shielding him and Evan from their father. Still, the twins, Russ especially have shown that they are mature enough to handle the situation that directly affects them. They have Chris and Jacob who have also proven to be steadfast in their love and support. The visit to the grandparents was great. I don't think there was enough coffee, tea, or sweet treats to make that any less uncomfortable.. Message delivered though.. To be a fly on the wall when Evan sees Dotty again after Chris' little Dom bomb.. So good..

Faris and James: The Great Rat Race.
Defiance19 commented on Mikiesboy's story chapter in Faris and James: The Great Rat Race.
Faris and James are always great fun. This installment was no exception. I cannot stop laughing because it is so real, down to the dogs. You've managed to capture the ensuing chaos perfectly on page. I know, if it crawls across my foot and it's bigger than a fly it's a rat, so I don't blame James one bit. I love his reward though, he'd be smart to see rats most every week.. Awesome as usual tim... Missed these two.. -
I don't know if I'll ever not be overly anxious to post a story, but I'm so happy it was well received. That you liked it well enough to read it again is a tremendous boost of encouragement. Thank you so much Val. I appreciate your help on this and all of your support..
-
I'm happy to have blindsided most everyone. That means I did a good job delivering on the theme.. Thank you for all of your support and for leaving a lovely review.. I am happy to be Aunt Def to you...
-
That statement right there, is the hard hitting truth. You summed it up well. Thank you for reading and leaving a review.
-
Ahh, mijo.. You are welcome. I think their Dad is the one who has lost the most here. It's not likely the boys will forgive him anytime soon. In the meantime, Kurt will have the support of Brian, who will have Nate to lean on.. Thank you for a wonderful review and all your support.. ~Mama

Harvey missed a great chance to be something more for his sons. Better than what his father was to him. He let his own fear, shame and cowardice drive him and it will cost him. I wouldn't forgive him easily if ever either. I'm holding out hope that the future is brighter for the brothers. Thank you for your support and a great review Lit...
