I have strong doubts Akeeri and Rimzi survived. They were locked together at the time. Martin and Emma might have been spared. We only know they didn't rebuild, but we also know there were descendants. My question would be is the bomb still there? It would be a reason for Akeeri's spirit to keep hanging around.

We can see here Jubal is an optimist at heart. He wants to get the blood off the cabin floor so Lucas won't have it as a reminder of the attack. It's the attitude of a resolute survivor.- 54 comments

In a way we can view this as a flashback. Not much happened we hadn't figures out for ourselves. Reid has been shaken as well. Jubal is still in shock from all of the events and the adrenaline high he was operating on has passed. It's not surprising he fainted. Under modern medicine, the first thing done would be to push intravenous fluids to raise blood pressure and then do a blood transfusion, but we are before that time. Lucas will have to do all the hard repairs on his own.- 54 comments

It was considered a common courtesy for a gentleman to doff his hat to ladies. Now it seems an oddity. Doffing headgear while eating at table seems to have been mostly abandoned as well.

The event Rimzi was planning would have plunged the country back into conflict. Akeeri underestimated his opponent and his abilities. Now we know how the house burned, but still not the ending. Did Martin and Emma survive? Is the spirit Akeeri or Rimzi?

You do know Alaska and Montana are about two thousand miles apart? And Alaska is more sparsely populated than Montana.

I don’t think the too many people excuse is a good one anyway. Montana is a big tourism state with 12.6 million visitors a year. Small numbers trickling in over weeks wouldn't be noticed. They could spread out keeping the larder filled at a bunch of places.

The events Castor displayed eliminated the idea there is a portal where Mildred's house stands. Maybe the spirit is looking for Martin or wants to communicate. Spirits usually remain if something still needs to be done.

Geron is an expert in leading us down unexpected rabbit holes. Martin and Emma are remarkably open minded for their time. I'm sure there might be a backstory behind choosing such a remote place to live. What does Martin do to support them? Unless there are fields nearby, he's not a farmer. Akeeri is fascinating as well, gentle and reasonable, yet willing to kill to protect what he believes in. What ultimately happened here to destroy the house? Is this Rimzi still kicking around for Charlie and company to deal with? We'll see.

The band Motley Crue is what first comes to mind. As a noun, motley means fool or jester. There is an investing advice site named The Motley Fool. One could take the name to be repetitive, as The Fool Fool or as Disparate Fool by the title.
