Jamie can already block mages from translocating, which keeps them inside a field. Wouldn't a magic block work somewhat the same way as the energy dissipator?

Kundun came up with a premise for the ultimate weapon against a mage, deny them the use of magic. I think Jamie might be close to this anyway. They are turning the laws of magic upside down.

There was a mention of him needing to modify the glove to broaden the magic he can magnify, but he hasn't seemed to get around to it.

Only 16% of our world's power comes from hydroelectric sources and only 6.2% in the US. The way power companies shuttle power around defies common sense. We have a hydroelectric plant closer than any other power source and yet never get power from there. It's sold out in the western US. Like us, this is only a fraction of the power generation going on.

About the last time this term was in popular use was for the Lincoln JFK used in Dallas with said top removed. -

Actually, only Porvus has been mentioned by mages in relation to the power. They thought it was Urvan at the inn because he was the only one they knew then. Again, these guys don't share. Being the only one with the power would make one irreplaceable and when your compatriots are as nasty as these, you need insurance. If Urvan had it at the castle, he could have easily taken over the whole kingdom.

I think it's assuming a great deal they can all do the mind trick. We know for sure Porvus can, but if Urvan had it, why didn't he use it on Sedwick rather than the shrinking spell or on them during the fight at the castle? As we've seen, the evil mages are greedy, jealous, and share very little.
