  1. well said . I have nothing more to say. It resumes 60 years of my own experiences. I enjoyed a lot of flavors .
  2. I tried to get Windows 7 Beta and got the answer : "We're sorry, Windows 7 Beta downloads are no longer available.". Once again a trick to deceive the customers ?

  4. Nice topic You should also present the progress of the numbers of members and of authors . Any way to imagine the presentation of the site anno 2015 ? . BTW, I hope to be still then, able to enjoy ( I would be 86 ! ).
  5. Hi Newbie ...... One thing you have to understand : we are perhaps a community, but we are certainly a tribe, with its "entry"-rules and its traditions. The denomination "Newbie" for new members just means that you have not yet fulfilled all the conditions to become a member (f.i. posted at least 5 posts in forums) . Give a look to the members-list and the rules, you will understand what I mean. BTW, welcome to our tribe, I hope you will enjoy to participate, as you allready made with your post .
  6. I'm too old to dream Celebrity ! And all the ones I dreamed of are long since dead So nobody knows them today .

  8. nice story and very well written . Mark's writing skill is wonderful, as usual ! And this story is a lesson too : when you "haunt" bathhouses, never go to glory holes. It remembers me a funny experience I made myself long ago at the bar in such an house in Paris. A well acquainted man happened to be there. I thought he was straight and he had the same opinion of me . After the first moment of astonishment, we were both laughing about ourselves and then enjoyed both together the meeting .
  9. Kevin, maybe you should open a new topic with the attitudes of gays and lesbians toward Bi-people. I checked in Wikipedia the articles about Bisexuality and about Alfred Charles Kinsey (see my signature in my profile!). You know that I

  11. I was once a few years ago in one of these fairs. Not very attractive ! . Could somebody bring same news about the Sex Toy sales in USA or other countries ? If I remember well, in the fifties 2 countries were leaders in this market : Netherlands and Denmark. What about SF or NY in the States ?
  12. Kevin, you are like St. Thomas . See John 20:24-29 (King James Version) : "But Thomas, one of the twelve, called Didymus, was not with them when Jesus came. The other disciples therefore said unto him, we have seen the LORD. But he said unto them, Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe." It
  13. Thanks for your kind words .
  14. Hi Jerry, Wellcome to GA What interest you more ? the stories or the forums ? or both ? It's nice just to say Hello, but I hope you will enjoy the stories and participate in the discussions. Dont be too shy, the more people are active, the more we have fun .
  15. It was not so easy to answer ! The longer you live, the more experiences (good and bad !) you make, the more it becomes difficult to distinguish the differents reasons of a "successful" relationsship. After almost 80% of a century of experiences, I would like to summarize my answer in a very few words : a successful relationship is one which last at least 50 years . Its length is the best criterion.
  16. Coming out was never a problem for me . When you look my profile, I'm not only gay, I'm bi. As Kinsley said : the capacity of an individual to respond erotically to any sort of stimulus, whether it is provided by another person of the same or opposite sex, is basic in the species. IMO, a bi is a gay who openly likes and/or loves also the other gender. The advantage (and sometimes the problem !) of the bi's are that we can play at the same time "on both pianos". So I never really "came out ". I lived with my rents till I was 18. I was the war. We lived in Geneva, a town entirely surrounded by German troops in occupied France, with just a small corridor of 2 miles connecting us to the remaining part of Switzerland. My father was away from home, in the Army as all Swiss men, we were expecting any time the invasion of the German troops, which would mean death for the whole family (we are Jews!), and so my rents had a lot of other problems to solve. So I could live almost of my own and I didn't need to tell my double nature. From 14 to 20, still "in the closet", I had several very close boyfriends (one after the other) and I was very shy with girls. Later, during my College years, I was away from home, free to be myself without interfering of my rents. With 21, I lived in a "commune" with boys and girls, and met a girl who became my wife and with whom I'm still happily living since soon 58 years (we had 4 children, I say "had" because 2 are already dead ). My wife is very open-minded, I had a lot of travel opportunities far from home so I could live a double life and had during the same years several boyfriends (as other straight people have "mistresses"), some of them very dear friends ,some just for fun. I'm not very religious, I live in an open gay friendly country, and the people around me know me well and take me as I am : " a ship sailing either with sails or with motors (as we say in French : "naviguer
  17. Wow ! Your faith is wonderful and it makes a life easy to live. By reading your comment, my fear of dying is fading. At soon 80, I'm not so far from the time when I will find the right answer to my question. In the meantime, its a consolation to follow your path. Thanks for your words (very) Old Bob.
  18. Born in Geneva (Switzerland) at 18, left to College and University (FIT) in Zurich, 5 years first job in Zug, 2 years second job in Sierre (swiss mountains), 2 years third job in Lausanne (Lake of Geneva), 7 years then managing my own companies in Lausanne, then in a nice village above the lake, later in Zurich, Oran (Algeria) and Paris and back in Lausanne, 38 years living now since 1993 in Geneva BTW, if I summarize all my movings, I moved with my family about 27 times ! I could have been a gipsy . When springtime arrives, the trend to move is so strong.... .
  19. I quite agree with Tipdin's comment. Its much easier . If you have secrets to hide, take care of it. Protect your computer and erase your messages .
  20. I tryed to find out which story you like yourself most, both from the titles you gave and the rank of the presentation . I suppose "rain of me" and "interracial story" should be the ones which are the easiest for you to write. If I understand well your question, you will write all four, either one after the other or all together. BTW, so why ask ? You should write for yourself, not for some readers . Personaly, I like "horror" stories. Its why I voted for 3 .
  21. I dont agree with the last part of your comment . We are a lot who want both and 50/50 intrigue/romance is at least a good average. BTW, if you look back in the first chapters and in the other stories written by CJ, he is a really specialist of intrigue and no so skilled in "romance" ( He said it himself in a comment of one of his first stories). The main reason is that "romance" stories dont need cliffangers, which is the special pleasure of CJ .
  22. Happy Birthday DAN ! Enjoy this day as any other, and thanks for sharing your nice moments with us in your blogs.
  23. I'm a convinced admirer of the way CJames "construct" his stories. Chapter 29, as usual, demonstrate his skill . I admire even more the "depth" of his technical knowledge. The description of the ignition od an atomic bomb is a model by itself ! well done
  24. Following "live" on July 20, 1969 the landing on the Moon of astronauts Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin, with Michael Collins orbiting above during the Apollo 11 mission.
  25. Happy Birthday, Rick! Have a nice birthday, and thanks for your stories. I'm one of your many fans .
