Exactly! For me, just a quick "sorry for being an ass" is pretty damn lame considering all the shitty things Shane said to Donovan. Shane will have to do WAY better than that if he really wants to redeem hinself. Of course Donovan is looking like quite the pushover at this point, so it might be enough.

I don't feel sorry for either of them. Gordy is a hypocrite who lowered whatever standards he had just to get some D. Shane is a d-bag. Why does he expect anyone to be nice to him when he treats them the way he does? I think they're both getting what they deserve. -
I agree alcohol lowers our inhibitions to a point. However, no matter how much I drink there's no way in hell I'm hooking up with someone I hate. Its not worth throwing away self respect and lowering my standards.

I agree. I was very disappointed myself. I think of all the stories I've read on GA that went this route, there have been maybe 2 that the bully fully redeemed himself. Most of the rest I quit reading. This one I'm on the fence. If I can't stand someone, hooking up with them isn't even a possible outcome, and alcohol isn't an excuse.

I had a difficult time with this chapter. For me, first impression is EVERYTHING, and no way in hell is an asshole gonna all of a sudden maul me without getting a black eye or a knee to the balls. Its almost impossible to change my mind on someone who gives as horrible of a first impression as the one Shane has given. Add alcohol, and I would definitely dislike him more instead of giving in.

I agree, I don't understand that mentality either. I also don't get why an adult would do that. At least if it were a story about school age boys, they're not at an adult maturity level so I would kinda get it. Shane just sounds like a total asshole. Obviously also not at an adult maturity level! Lol!

I enjoyed the getting ready chapter. I just can't with the romper, tho. For me, wearing a romper would itself be the reason for Donovan not getting laid! Lol!

I wouldn't have been proud of Sean speaking up like TJ was, after all it was Sean who made him invite that cock jockey to his house in the first place. John was totally disrespecting TJ right in front of Sean, yet Sean wanted TJ to be nice and invite him to the party. Then John continues disrespecting TJ by blowing Mark outside of TJ's house. No way in hell would a boyfriend EVER talk me into inviting the disrespectful d-bag that took his virginity to my house, not to mention sitting at our lunch table after.

I read the story from start to finish a couple days ago and totally loved it! I'm normally not a fan of a bullying victim ending up with the bully, but Cody made a big effort to apologize and to prove himself trustworthy. Also how he quit bullying Trick when he found out he had a crush on him, and how upset he was when Trick changed schools made him not a total ass! Lol! Cody and Trick are great guys, as are their friends. Too bad Mason had to be such an ass, but at least he made an effort at the end to give them a nod and wave. It must have helped figuring out that out of everybody, he was the only one being an idiot. Lol! Definitely a story I will enjoy reading more than once.

So sorry for ur loss. Such a good chapter. Levi and Link have such big hearts. Link guarding the bedroom so Cody can get his sleep, and Levi being there to support his best friend. Levi laying in the hospital bed with Brody to comfort him was so sweet. Brody is gonna need his best friend, and I kno Levi will be there with him every step of the way. Now, how are we gonna torture that asshole Carson??

I'm still very uneasy about Rex and Mark all of a sudden being so buddy buddy. I thought it was pretty rude of them to eventually ignore Andy all together. Neither of them even noticed that Andy left with Jackson. I wouldn't be jealous, I'd be angry as hell at both of them if I were Andy. I was on the fence about Rex before, but I can now honestly say that I really don't like him.

What a great sequel! I'm so happy Bart is convincing Dean not to be afraid of coming out. Also very happy that Dean had the courage to come out to Hugh. He would have never got the kiss or the date offer if he hadn't. I hope u add more to their story. Really love Dean and Bart, and would love to see what happens with Hugh! From the things that have been shared about Dean's father, I can't imagine him having a problem with Dean's sexuality. He already likes the guy Dean is gonna go on a date with after all! Lol!

Loved the chapter! I knew Mark wouldn't have a problem with Andy being gay. He's a pretty cool, laid back guy. I'm so happy Andy has Nico and Jackson as friends. Even though they may have their own issues with each other, they're good friends for Andy. Maybe one of them will become a romantic interest?? At least Rex had the common courtesy to text Andy this time. I wonder, though, why he texted Mark.

Great chapter!! I'm so glad that Eddie and Matt were able to help Galen. He and Josh definitely made a first step in their relationship. The kiss they shared when Galen got back to the farm was so sweet. Galen has made such great progress! I'm really gonna miss this story. 2 more chapters is too soon!! 😭

I'm just very unsure whether to continue with the story or not. So far, it definitely seems to have gone in the same direction as Unexpected. We've gone from hate and animosity to fucking and going on trips with the kids within a couple of chapters. With the past of bully and victim, which went on for years, for me it would have made more sense to have the "good old fashioned throw down about the past" before any feelings or sex. I don't want to be 20+ chapters into the story waiting for something that's never going to happen.

Omg, what a great chapter! I think this trip is just as exciting for us readers! Kasey had me laughing throughout the chapter! For me, I think the best part was Kasey, protecting Cody, calling the man a shithead and kicking him in the shin! Lmao! Cody talking about the movie he's gonna be in was pretty funny too. I'm so proud of the boys saving the other boy's life. They have been so well behaved. So has Nan....so far. The cliffhanger sounds very ominous. Glad to hear that u are feeling better! -

Unfortunately, the same exact thing happened in the @Bndmetl story Unexpected. Big drama, then cut to the characters going on like nothing ever happened. Nothing was ever discussed, nothing was ever resolved. I feel its unfair to the story and to the readers when there's so much drama....then nothing.

I don't understand this story anymore. We went from one being a bully and the victim hating him, to the two of them being a couple and nothing was resolved. There's a huge chunk of story missing.

Love Troy and Adam. So happy Troy's birthday party was a success. The banter between Troy and the salesman at the store was hilarious! Troy is quick with good comebacks! Lol. I hope that they squash the situation with Jason quickly. I also wonder if maybe he's a closet case.

Jamie is correct, Sam doesn't deserve him. Sam deserves WAY better. I sure as hell wouldn't be sad over someone who shoves his hands down the pants of the first guy he meets. If I were Sam, I would stay far away from Jamie and his friends.
