This has been a great series! I am sorry to see it end. I think one of these days, when I am looking for something to read, I'll go back and read the Homestead Pride series from the beginning. Thanks for sharing these wonderful characters and their stories.

So, Damian finally showed his true colors. Remember "The Omen." 😏 There has been so much foreshadowing (everytime he turns up), it's not much of a surprise. I enjoy reading your stories, but I have to say this is one of my favorite! I liked Hunter right away, and I got quickly caught up in his life's problems and how they were solved. Thanks for sharing this story.

You did an amazing job writing Eddie's conversations with Dad and Donald. He did a great job explaining his feelings to both of them. I think people often don't look beyond hate as a reason for things happening. Maybe we should be asking what caused the hate that brought about this event. I have to say the whole spring break adventure with the boys was a lot of fun! Thanks. -
I hope you have read every comment so far. This story is terrific! It is a great follow up to "A Tattoo for Lex!" If you even pretend to think about not finishing this story, there will be a long line of readers waiting to give you a shaking or a big smack on the head. Your characters are engaging. The dialogue is first rate and sounds real. The descriptions are enough to put us in the place without dragging down the story. You are doing a great job! I can hardly wait for more. Thanks.

Somehow I missed this story when it was posted. It is sweet in the best way, and reminds me of the stories I read to my daughter when she was young. Thanks for including descriptions of the illustrations. It makes me wish I was better at drawing. I could see how they would look in my head. Nicely done! Thanks.

One of the many things I appreciate about your writing, is your ability to make things interesting even when we know what the outcome is. Based on the prologue, we know Chipper is going to end up on the show. But you managed to make getting through round one interesting and a bit suspenseful anyway. Thanks.

I don't know how hormone treatments affect the voice. I would argue that deeper, darker, and different aren't necessarily bad. I realize your singing voice is a part of who you are. If you are becoming the new you, part of that may be a new voice. A beautiful singing voice in tenor or bass may be part of the new you. Once again thanks for sharing your journey.

Both are well written and show emotions, negative and positive. I didn't count syllables or watch carefully the rhyming. We can leave that for the teacher. I just read to feel the emotions and understand the meaning, which I easily did. Thanks.

I am trying to figure out Asher's secret. Alien or superhero, or something in between? We need more about his background. And more about Kenan. What has gone wrong in his life? This story is starting out well. I am curious where it is going. I'll try to be patient. Thanks.

Snicker if you want at my romantic notions. Stravor would not be the first character to defy his boss and not follow directions. Love can be tricky. There has been more than one story where the jailer falls for his prisoner. And Shade may be a force to recon with. 😛

Good chapter! I like Keter even more! It will interesting to see how the relationship between Keter and Stravor grows. I also enjoyed the detail of shopping in the market to prepare for their journey. Thanks.

I am curious as to why Hunter has decided to create a farm in a warehouse in the city? I agree with RCCROBO, Hunter be more focused on finding his son. I'll be watching for the next chapter. I want to find out where this is going. Thanks.

I am sorry that Danny is leaving. I really enjoyed the times he appeared in the story. I am also enjoying the growing relationship between Jarren and Nash. I really hope something can be worked out so they can spend time with Liam. Thanks.
