    Daniel

I love Daniel, and even though he is a fictional character, I would like to comfort him. I am glad Grandmother is much better than I expected. You take care of yourself. Being in a better frame of mind will help the creative juices flow. Although it made me a bit sad, it was good to read more about Daniel. Thanks.

    Guardian

    Good tip! Thanks. 😉

    Guardian

I am really sorry I missed the chocolate cake and ice cream. By the time I got to the campground, it was all gone. 😕 I am happy for Elias. Maybe things could have gone better, but they certainly could have been much worse. I think the guardianship will be good for Orson, Elias, and the guys. I am certain there will be more bumps in the road, but I believe in strength in numbers. Thanks.
  4. I can't begin to say how much I enjoyed this story! Eddie and Matty were great characters, and they had a supporting cast that was equally terrific! I am a bit sad to see this story come to an end, but I am equally happy to hear you will write/have written a story about the guys in college. I will try to be patient until it starts to post. Thanks for sharing this story!

    The Law

More good story about this mostly non-biological family in the making! Nice interactions with the police officers, and bonus points for the potential customers for the campground. Thanks.

    Elias

This is a tough subject, but you wrote with compassion and restraint. Thanks for giving Elias and Orson a chance to help heal each other. And thanks for more of this great story.

    Musings

What fun! And even better, or as usual for me, I didn't see the ending coming. Thanks.
  8. As I like to sometimes say, this was sweet in the best meaning of the word. I liked that you wrote us a story. I liked even more that some details and connections were vague or left out so I could fill in the blanks like I wanted to. Nicely written. Thanks, Tim

    Coach Duet

I'll borrow Adam's line at the end of this chapter. "It's been a pleasure." Of course I mean reading Chipper's story. I'm certain the rest will be a pleasure too! Thanks.

    Chapter 4

Just binged the first four chapters and really enjoyed myself! Good pacing, interesting characters, and well written dialogue all made for a fun read! I will try to be patient waiting for the next chapter. Thanks.

    Chapter 3

The first encounter between the twins and Etienne was great! Good writing and dialogue! Thanks.

    Chapter 2

Interesting! The twins are not what I expected. I agree with Buz, I am anxious for them to meet Etienne. Thanks.
  13. Young Rigby is as enjoyable as I remember! Although I do not share all his beliefs and ideal, I do share several. What caught my attention, "I'm not a dancing bear." It seems a bit silly at face value, but the message is one I try to follow. Thanks.
  14. Well, Mr. T. it is nice to be reading your stories again! I am excited to read/reread about young Rigby's youthful adventures. I always enjoy your writing style and unique characters. Thanks.

    Chapter 1

I like Etienne already! Six foot five sounds potentially intimidating. It is interesting that he seems shy and unsure. I look forward to learning about the twins, and to see how things move forward. Thanks.

    Fetch!

This story continues to make me laugh! Jett and April are terrific characters! You do a great job writing their dialogue! Who will slip first and reveal their true feelings? Thanks for sharing this story.

    Trouble

How to you react to this chapter? I gave it a heart because, as I've said more than once, I love these characters and their story. I debated about a teardrop because this chapter was mostly sadness, or a bomb because it made me angry. One little chapter with so many strong emotions. Nicely done! Thanks.
  18. This poem is perfect for Veteran's Day! Thanks, Tim.

    Healer

Another chapter filled with your great writing, these wonderful characters, and several touching moments. Thanks.

    Thorns

I haven't commented in a while, and I wanted to check in. I thought about critiquing your writing and the story, but I have no helpful criticism about either. I will just say once again how much I am thoroughly enjoying this story! I'll also repeat a previous comment: great characters, good dialogue, and a wonderful story! Thanks.

    Chapter 1

I liked this opening chapter, and I am curious to know more about these characters and their world. Thanks.
  22. I did a quick binge to get caught up. My jury is still out on Simon, but I am really intrigued with Tristan. I have a couple of theories, but I think I will just watch things unfold for now. You've written an interesting beginning. I look forward to more. Thanks.
  23. Sorry to hear about your life's trials and tribulations. At least one amazing thing has come out of the last year for you, and that is this story! You are two for two on creating terrific stories with amazing characters! Your characters tug at a reader's heartstrings. They make me with they were real people I could befriend and get to know. Enjoy your break from writing, but don't stay away too long. I look forward to reading another story written by you sometime after the holidays. Thanks.

    Fear

This chapter was well written! You did an excellent job capturing the emotions of father and son, and the conflict between them. You also briefly, but effectively, wrote about Greg's and Jeremy's feelings. I am anxious to see how you get them past this. Thanks.
  25. The suicide threw me for a loop! I must say you did a fine job writing the characters' actions and reactions after. You showed us their feelings through their actions and especially their dialogue. It felt real. I am curious to see how things are going back to school. Thanks.
