I am enjoying this story a lot! I don't play cards, so one of the details I really enjoy is the chapter titles! I am curious about how you did that. It's a very clever idea. Did you make a list of poker terms and match them to the chapters? Anyway, I am not certain who I find more interesting, Chip or Seth. I am intrigued by this power struggle between them. I am anxious to see what happens next. Thanks.

I am still really enjoying this story! Jett and April (and Jay) are great characters. As to the first one Jett let get away, I think it was April, when they were kids. At some point I think one or the other will "slip" and admit they have the hots for each other. After that open the floodgates and watch out! 💣💥💥💥 Thanks for more of your most enjoyable story!

I don't think I have met Terry and Dave. I will have to find their story and check it out. In spite of Dave's worries about the proposed trip, this was a nice story. I really liked their rapport, and as usual, your dialogue was terrific! Thanks. -
I have been taking Ezra for granted. Maybe that was a mistake. The other characters are suspicious of his motives. The readers mostly seem to be suspicious also. Then Sadie calls and she is suspicious. Too many fingers pointing not to look a little closer. From some of the comments he's made, I wonder if Ezra is here to "rescue" Artie. I can't wait to read more! Thanks.

After reading a few chapters I am caught up again. My hat is off to you and the last several chapters, Carlos. You really know how to write them! The short chapters make this seem like a quick read. I imagine deciding what to include and what to leave out really hones your writing skills. You continue to be a master of character creation. I have said it before: most of your secondary characters are more fully developed that some authors' main characters. And judging by the number of comments and the strong feelings in them, you continue to shine! Thanks for all your hard work to bring us these terrific stories!

Thanks for more of this really good story! I am enjoying getting to know more about these characters, who I really like. I also like Greg's idea for a gay friendly campground, and I am anxious to see how things move forward now that it is officially open.

Your writing continues to impress me. It's very engaging and easy to read. Great characters in a great story; what more could you ask for? This is beautifully written, but so sad. Unfortunately this cancer scenario happens too much. I was thinking things might go differently with the younger man on the beach. I was a bit sad to see him walk away. The suicide was unexpected (to me), but it sounds nice to leave this world in a place you love. Thanks. -
Well Wayne, you've got another really good story under your belt! Your characters were interesting and most definitely three-dimensional. The plot and dialogue were well thought out. Wow! Although you riffed off the Icarus story, it is amazing what you accomplished in thirty- some words! I love this! I am reluctant to show my ignorance in a public forum, but I am feeling like the first half is someone being compared to Icarus, and the second half is the someone himself. Thanks for sharing.

A young man, a wolf shifter, and a man/hunter (?) In a green cloak meet in a clearing in a woods on a stormy night. Except for the young man it seems planned, and gives us more questions and no answers. Hmmm. Excellent mystery!! I can't wait for more! Thanks.

This story is fast paced and a bit of a rollercoaster! It's a bit different from your other writing, but I like it! It's terrific that Chipper has his own story! You know excluding CJ, Owen, and the Dads, you have enough other interesting characters to keep you in stories for years! 😏😆🤔 Just a thought. And I'll echo the comment from readers and say thank you for keeping Bliss. She is one of your many secondary characters that really gets you interested. It's too bad more authors don't take the time you seem to when writing them. Thanks.
