I enjoyed this very much! It brought back pleasant memories of childhood. I'm not certain on the story versus scene debate. I tend to lean toward scene, but the many arguments for story are quite valid. Thanks.

Ugh. After about two sentences of the math lesson, I was cross eyed. Needless to say I scanned through the rest of the calculus lesson. As a side note, I never got close to taking a calculus class. 😏 Aside from that I really enjoyed this chapter! Both your characters are quite engaging! I look forward to more. Thanks.

Will Owen have any redeeming qualities? It seems a little sad he can manipulate his parents so easily. If he is just a conniving dick, as seems likely, Sam will have a rough time settling into his new home. And based on the prologue, what is Sam's history? I know, I promise to be patient. Thanks.

I was kind of hoping Mom would still be there when Aubrey showed up! That would have been an interesting conversation. Andrew is an interesting character. I am not a football fan, and I am certain I have some stereotypical ideas about what professional football players are like. Seems to me like Andrew is mostly a player, but I guess old habits are hard to change. I'm looking forward to the conversation between Aubrey and Andrew! Thanks.

What a great change in Loz! You have done such a good job writing his character! At the beginning I wanted to hate him, and he wasn't likeable at all. You slowly peeled away the layers so we could understand him. And now I am excited for this fresh start and rooting for him to be successful! Thanks.

If you lived next door I'd be knocking on your door, with a bagel in hand, ready to give you a hug! Your writing throughout this story was amazing! You created characters I quickly came to care about. Your descriptions of the mental health issues was well done. Tyson was often frustrating and often annoying, but I really liked him. I appreciate the HEA. I think he will finally get the support he was missing, and being smart he knows how things work and can make good choices for himself. Thank you for sharing this story.

It looks like things are heading in the right direction for Tyson. When I met him in chapter one I was hoping for a positive ending. Seems he is headed that way. I am sorry that this story is almost over. I have really enjoyed it! Thanks.

As I said one other time in a comment, in a mystery I always follow the red herrings. It seems like the number of potential logger killers keeps increasing, and I have no clue which one really did the deed. It will be interesting to see what happens with your new trio. Thank you, Wayne! This was a most satisfying ending to this wonderful story! You hit all the right notes and tied up most of the loose ends. I can imagine how life for Wren and Caleb will progress, but if you decide to write more about this pair or their family and friends, I'll be there to read it. Call it whatever you like. 😆😆 There is a boy in my grand daughter's grade named Wren. He is the first person I've known with that name. I am curious to know if Wren is at all common? Seems unlikely. Thanks again for sharing this story and these wonderful characters.

I am sad to see this wonderful story end. You created these terrific characters that I liked right away and grew to care for more as the story progressed. I commented earlier that I really enjoyed the descriptive passages. I really felt like I was in the scene, but you never wrote too much so I got bored. I think you chose a good place to end your story. I have an idea of what happens to Gianni and Angelo, but I would enjoy reading more if you ever choose to write it. Thanks for sharing this story.

This was a satisfying ending for this part of the twins' story. Like so many others, I enjoyed every minute of it. As I said early on, Drew is my kind of character. As much as I loved the others, I really liked watching him grow. Thanks for sharing this story. I look forward to reading more of your stories.
