I really like the politics, the schemes, and even the moments when George children appear, but I admit I am also missing the ships. One full year until the war restarts though. My guess is the @Mark Arbour will make it a new book, since this one is dedicated to peace and politics.

Thanks @Mark Arbour, great chapter! Happy to see George meeting an old friend. I am looking forward to some politics in His Most Catholic Majesty's Court. Maybe a solution to Luis problem with his wife is for Dave try to sleep with her, then the French influence is balanced with British 😂

Thank you for the chapter @Mark Arbour! Great, as always! George on his way to meet old friends, but will have to endure another Royal Court.

I know, I meant the characters, which I assume are from @Mark Arbour other story. Still I agreed with Mark's initial salacious comment 🤩

I think the benefit will probably come in a more discreet way, like better opportunities or society standing. And if there is something of value, it would probably come from Amelia; the necklace would be George paying. Also both the Russian necklace of the French Princess, as well as the Ruby and Sapphire jewels from his Greek adventures, are part of the "Granger Treasury" that he probably want to keep to his daughters.

In George's place, I am not sure I would trust Caroline, she has some erratic behavior in the past. It is the best solution though, Francis and George are known to be close, and Francis knows his children already, do it wouldn't be strange to visit and spend time with the children. A title that was allowed to pass to the second son was a good reward, even if Caroline was previously in a bitchy and spending phase before, she does have a finger to build a solid financial enterprise now that she has an objective.
