Geoff was so wrong when he said Barry and Clarence were harmless ... Is he going to be a bad parent to Erik due to his bad judgment of people and his casual attitude of young people having sex? Right, you can't stop them from experimenting but better advise on protecting themselves. It seems to me that Geoff do care a little about his charges BUT just because a person is of age doesn't automatically mean that they don't need guidance in life (better guidance than that professor seemed to be dishing out ...) Why am I ranting, because you, the author is piling up bad experiences, one after the other on Jerry, and the world doesn't seem to care ... (yelling obscenities to someone in particular, but I'm not telling who ...)

Before Chapter 14, I didn't have an urgent need to post a review, but after reading this, I've quickly come to this page and read all the reviews. I think that you've written such a sweet coming of age / coming out story so far, and we, as readers have been so enamoured of Nick and Dave, that this act of violence / violation (albeit referred to in an oblique manner) has shocked and sickened us ... They're only sixteen ... (weeping silently) ... Hence all these strong emotional responses. Okay, for Craig, skillet treatment for his head and balls (banging repeatedly on them) or castration with a dull knife should be the minimum punishment ... (Silently screaming with frustration) I'll carry on reading the rest of the story ...

From the Chinese foods to the Chinese names and written characters (speaking from first hand experience and mother tongue knowledge) to the Canadian landscape, camping equipment and heating pads (only thing I know with certainty for the latter 3 items); all of these spot on ! Are you sure you're not ethnic Chinese and are you really living in Sussex, in the UK ? Thank you for another chapter, I'm going to read the next one now ... since it's been just uploaded ...

Just from reading your story note, I literally cringed "... if you think some of the things the boys do are too far fetched, then they'll be the events that actually happened ..." Talk about putting a damper on one's dreams, i.e. becoming a parent / having children ... I know it's a daunting task, just not really how much ... Normally I wouldn't have commented on a story with any hint of BDSM in it, or else the comment would be quite scathing and negative. However, reading the other reviews made me pause and think; things are really quite sweet between Lance and Julian, and I hope they'll make it a long term relationship (okay, they are a couple of fictional characters, but I'm a hopeless romantic). I didn't give a "like" to every single chapter, but still I have to thank you for this story !

Argh ... is the next chapter getting messy ? How is Emmett going to dig himself out of this mess ? a) by two timing Zeke and Jian break off with Zeke and marry Jian c) start a polyamorous relationship d) fate takes over and someone is out of the picture p.s. I HATE cliffhangers, but I LOVE your stories ! (could anybody hear the sound of a person tearing their hair out in frustration ?)

Another bloody cliff hanger ... I'm screaming in pain, empathising with Kye's suffering ... Okay, maybe if I resort to banging my head against the wall, it'll stop the pain and the anxiety of not knowing what's going to happen next ... Maybe not, surely I can't scream my head off in public to ease my frustration, it'll scare the other people. Oh, back to the story, Kye has successfully broken through the mental chains tied around him by Barrett, he is worthy of a life, with someone who loves him; he's willing to fight the bastard for it, for happiness ... A clean shot is too lenient a sentence for that f--king evil monster, I want him to suffer a lingering, painful and solitary confinement ... Has it been 10 months already ? Thank you for this engaging tale ... Thank you ... (not so faint screaming continuing in the background)

This is an incredibly sad story ... but I'll just continue to rant at the cruel fates / powers that be ... At the end of the day, Matthew's mother cared enough to come and visit him, there lies a glimmer of hope, the small spark of love.
