What's 'Eastenders'? As usual you make some valid points. I don't think one can tag other than 'Europe' but I'm not positive about that. The main reason though is not to have more than one serial running at the same time.

You could be right. Others have suggested that Mr C should have been more active after the first attack, but the boys didn't want him to. Now he knows the full extent of what happened to Troy I think he is ready to go hunting - but legally.

I have thought about it, but I reckon one serial running is sufficient. Plus which that is a very British story set way back in time (60s) and thus I doubt if it would be very well received here. But, once 'Unbeaten' has run its course then it's a possibility.

Yeah, I reckon I got fooled. Every other time the preview has looked how it should appear, so when this time it didn't look right I made all the corrections You're right about Adam - with Troy he has become a different person, externally and internally. His confidence has grown, although I'm sure he wouldn't have risked playing around with Troy in the car had Troy not already shown him that he was feeling good enough to play games again

My apologies for how this chapter appears on screen. When I pasted it and checked the results it showed no line spacing so I went through and inserted them in preview. The result would appear to be double spacing! I'll also take the opportunity to say 'thanks' to all who are reading this story; 'many thanks' to those who have indicated they like some or all of the chapters thus far; and 'special thanks' to everyone who has taken the time to comment.

"It's a wunnerful world" Together they amount to much more than the would as two individuals. Adam is always going to be conscious of how much he owes Troy and his family while Troy is always overjoyed at how the ugly duckling turned into a swan.

An interesting point Droughtquake. I suspet they were all concerned over what had happened to him and glad to see him back. Maybe they didn't want to embarrass him or perhaps even guessed the reason.

Yep - it does seem there is scope for much to happen in the next chapter with Troy recovering fro his experience and wanting to put it to good use.

I have to say Mr C sure knows how to grill a steak and either he or Alicia knows where to buy the best meat. That steak just melted in my mouth and was truly delicious. Even Troy managed to eat his without any great difficulty as the meat was so tender. Mrs C had made some tasty salads to accompany our steaks and to finish up, Troy and I both managed to devour a bowl of ice cream. It was a very enjoyable evening and the day was definitely ending much better than it had begun. After we

Good chapter. I agree with JayT - Nick needs to take the risk and be honest with Billy quickly. If Billy doesn't want to get involved because of his background, then he won't be a great loss at an early stage. Mind you, the story could get more intense if that happened later

You managed to avoid that problem CG Yep, Diamond is definitely a busted flush. Hopefully it won't be long before the other two are in custody. Adam is working on ideas and I'm sure he'll 'come up' with something Btw - The British term is 'dog's dinner', but we like making a bigger mess!

Thanks, Chris. I think with Adam having been through his own problems and apparently emerged without major damage in no small way because of Troy's love and support, he is going to be the ideal person to help Troy now. Troy's little game would seem to indicate there are good prospects, Mind you, if he has to relive everything in court that could change things.
