Well, since I'm the local tech geek king... I have Windows 8 Pro on my laptop, desktop and backup laptop. I also have a Surface RT (the only touch device). On Surface, I'm in the new interface constantly. on the laptop and desktop, I almost never use it. Windows 8 is noticably faster on all machines. For those that poo poo the Surface RT. It's a perfect device for consumption and has handy content creation option when in a crunch. In fact, It works perfectly on the site for stuff. And unlike, say the iPad, the editor actually works with it on the site... IE10 also happens to be a really good browser. It's fast, responsive and standards compliant. It's a shame it took MS so long to get there. But better late than never I guess. I will say after using the Surface for a little while, I have a tendency to poke at my laptop screen now...

I liked that chapter a lot. I'm also happy that i'm not stuck at the edge of my seat for the next few weeks wondering where the next chapter is. Which is not to say I'm not looking forward to it, of course. good job!

I was in on the Closed Beta last week. As soon as I stopped playing that, I pre-ordered...

That was an interesting chapter. I would like to know more about how they got the information from Morgan. And, of course, you left it there?!

I definitely like this one-shot. I think it is pretty neat for Harry to be the agressor and Draco not to know what to do with him.

I really like McGonagall in this chapter. I see why Harry is heading in the direction he is, but not sure I like it.

I liked Ron's description of Umbridge as the "Umbridge thingy". Poor Ron and his temper...

It was a good chapter. And yeah, there were a few differences here from what we found out in HP6 and HP7. (Blaise Zambini is a boy, for example. And Kingsley Shackelbolt is reversed.) Very minor really and only mildly distracting even for someone soaked in the HP world.

I love Harry at the Ministry of Magic in this chapter.

I really enjoyed the subtle insults to Lucius from Harry.

I love the gift Harry chose for Narcissa. I also like all the subtle political byplay going on all over the place.

I really liked Ron in this chapter. and I agree with David's review

I definitely like the spin with Crabbe and Goyle in this story.

I loved the Great Hall scene!

I've always thought Harry was as it best when he is impassioned about something.
