  3. Thanks, Mac. It was fun to write too.
  4. “Hold still…,” Alex said. He stood behind James, and reached around and adjusted the bowtie. The pair both wore tuxedos, black with gold trim, and tails, and Alex was putting the finishing touches on his friend. “You look good.” “Thanks… I’m so fucking nervous. Is it too late to call it off?” James asked, with near panic in his voice. “Calm down,” Alex replied and led James over to the couch in the dressing room. They both sat down, while Alex pulled out a flask and poured them eac

    Moggy's Mutterings

A great collection of poems, Moggie.
  6. This was a very fun tale, about Dom, and his Halloween Eve night. It has all the makings of a comedic tale, and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

  7. Fantastic story, of someone who's birthday is April Fool's day. Told from the PoV of the Main Character, in the first person, jokes are aplenty, along with hurt, and love.

  8. Putting the stereotypical political satire aside, the story was very well written, and had an interesting theme in it.
  9. That's very true. In order to post anything, you have to have an account, and I believe @Myr once said (and I can be off on the numbers), that site traffic was 98% guests and 2% Members. So, it's quite possible.
  10. Well, STD is sticking to cannon, I'll give them that. However, they ripped off a video game and Robotech for the Spore Drive system.
  11. I've noticed something about this thread. The vast majority of posters are Authors, like myself. I hope we didn't run off normal members from this thread. (Also, I am firm believer, that to be a good writer, you have to a good reader. I read a lot, in both Digital and Paper formats.)
  12. Thanks, Agent D.
  13. A well written and beautiful tale. Love that is eternal is found one Christmas Eve, and persists.

A very beautiful Christmas story, and I love the twist of the immortals.

    Goodbye Daddy

A very good poem, tim. Lots of emotion in this.
  18. Thank you, jp. It was a lingering meh mood I was in. I'm glad you liked it.
  19. “You’re no son of mine,” the large man said, with barely contained rage. “I do not have a fucking faggot for a son. Now, get out of my house!” Dexter ran from the house, as his father moved to grab a baseball bat. He snagged the bag, he had prepared ahead of time that sat on the porch and ran to his brother’s car. Dexter hopped into the backseat of the convertible, and yelled, “DRIVE!!!” “NEVER COME BACK... NEVER COME BACK!!! YOU’RE EXILED!!!” His Father yelled as the car rocketed

    Maple Drive

Loved it, tim. Excellent story, and a great use of the word list prompt. Sad story, but its true about moms.
  21. Thanks, Moggie. I actually didn't realize the whole trust factor, until you and tim pointed it out.
  22. Thanks, tim. Needed a kick to the creative juices, and found a list of One Word Prompts, in the Writing Prompts forum. I used an Random-Number-Generator and it landed on "goodbye." My meh-blah mood shows in this one, but it did its job.
  23. The city park was quiet, even at this time of year. It was a small park, barely an acre, with concrete picnic tables, underneath equally garish concrete shelters, and only one playground area. An early cold snap had come and had driven people to the warmth of indoors. Those that were in the park this day, were locals, who just came for a few moments with family before they carried on. Except for one. Julian sat at one picnic table and shivered slightly. The cold breeze blew across his smal
