California school district discriminates against gender fluid athlete
Brayon replied to Hunter Thomson's topic in The Lounge
My enjoyment of GA went up immensely after I left The Pit. On this topic. After reading CA law first hand, and the arguments in the story. Gender-FLUID is not covered under California Law, in regards to High School sports. From what I read from the CA State Websites. Junior is making an attempt to identify as a female and was granted that right. Which includes, playing on Co-Ed and Female only sports. While I commend Junior for not wanting to take advantage of women's sports, having a high natural testosterone level. Under the law, Fluid is not covered, and Junior identifies as female and therefore is subject to those standards. -
This FanFic is a prequel of sorts to another FanFic of Timothy's. While it's a stand-alone, and knowledge of both that story and the epic series of books they are based on, is not necessary, your enjoyment of this story would be amplified by it. I found the story compelling, and truly a good work. Well written, and gave great visuals of what was going on. The dialogue was good and furthered the story.

Just thought this was an awesome short film...

Ok. That was really good. -
I know for me, I have a note in my Story Description, that I've changed stuff. Also, added a chapter note, that I changed a train station to a fictionalized version after I got a PM from someone that travels through that station every so often.

He's read the parts I've done with D.C., and so far only had to change a couple of things.

Ok. that looks really good.

This is actually one of my concerns with my story set in Washington D.C. I've been using Google Earth, Google, and a friend that lives in D.C. to get information for the story, and I'm hoping it's not falling flat when I talk about places.

I'm refraining from voicing my opinion, as this topic is not in The Pit, and I removed myself from that cesspool. -
I've never read one set in Tampa, that was a love story, but there is a Horror/Paranormal one called The Vampire's Apprentice that was set in Tampa. It was good, had locations I knew in it, and took a lot of liberties with locations. But then again, I'm doing that in a story I'm writing. It was not off-putting at all but made me feel a little prideful that my Hometown was featured in a book. On GA, I am writing an ongoing, romance set in Tampa called Finding Eros in Florida. It's a work in progress.

I mentioned above I was working on a prompt story, for #646. Here are the first few lines: Right after this, our hero finds himself on a C-130 cargo plane, strapped into a fold down seat on the side of the plane, surrounded by other civies. Then gets knocked out, as a medic goes around giving them all air injector shots. That's about as far, as I've written, as I was also working on the RetCon of Chapter 1 on my Half-Elven Warlock story, and answering all the replies, and PMs I got for my Forbidden Love story.

Cool, thank you.

Sadly, I can't draw a stick figure to save my life. I have tremors in my hands. I've used a few of the free world map generators online, but they all turn out the same, 2d crappy looking design. What program are you using above?

Five stars for this excellent tale. It is a tale of pain and inner turmoil of a man, whose life was drastically altered by events in his youth. Well worth the time to read, and it begs to have a follow-up story to it.

story review Featured Story: Shifter
Brayon commented on Renee Stevens's blog entry in Gay Authors News
Skinnydragon has been on my "GA To Read" list for a long time. So many good stories and this one was fantastic. I look forward to reading more of his stories, and I'm sadden to hear, that he is no longer with us. -
This story is the fantastic journey into the mind of madness. I would recommend it for anyone to read.

A fantastic story. -
"Forcing the cooking of a meal ruins it, I think the same applies to writing a good story." - @Kitt, GA Editor, a good friend, and Lead Mare.

There is footage from December 2017, or January 2018, of a North Korean Border Gaurd in the DMZ running to the south to defect. His fellow soldiers shot him several times, and the South Koreans finally got him under the cover of darkness, several hours later. He was still alive and lived to tell his tale. I'll spare the details of his medical report, it's a horror show. Word has also gotten out the North Korean "cheerleaders" at the Olympics are under "cheer or die" orders from their handlers. Not sure on the validity of that one, as it's sourced from a South Korean Journalist.

"I have seen the Havens but they were snatched away. The lack of love and understanding condemned me to an empty life. Now I am facing my personal hell and the anguish and remorse may tear me apart." - @Timothy M., Danish Author It's too good a comment to just let disappear.

Fantastic story. I loved how Jason let Blake down gently, but inwardly he fought his urges.

Thank you for reading, and for the feedback, Dolores. It is appreciated. While harsh, the death penalty in this story is a reminder that even in our real-life world in 2018, being Gay means your Death in most non-western countries.

Thank you for reading, Carlos. I think the reasoning behind incest between male/male or female/female family members is because more often than not it's because of abuse. Either by grooming, intimidation, or even coercion. I would have an issue if it was abuse. In a mutual relationship like this one, I would be more open-minded.

Fantastic job, Dodger! Very timely too.
