  1. Oliver is 13 years old and Teddy didn’t know that parents weren’t honest about Ryder. That shows lack of communication. Sure Teddy has a demanding job, but he’s still in the house. The mother would have been about 36 when Oliver was born. Oliver is the way he is because the parents checked out after Ryder. It’s clear that Oliver hears Teddy this and Teddy that. acknowledge the poor kid as his own person. Be present for him.
  2. Lord help us. These are some pathetic parents who need to be parented. Absolutely no communication skills. Mrs. Haner broke rule #1, you don’t say he’s not like you. Teddy has been a crappy brother, but he has a handle on situation. Oliver needs structure and people who listen. I’m losing patience with these reject parents. Time to pull your heads out of your asses.
  3. Thanks @Cia, @Caz Pedroso, @JayT. I thought I had it saved. Some good Saturday reading.
  4. Hey Guys, I wanted to reread a story from a few years back. Sadly I have forgotten title and author. It has a guy with a baby. He takes the baby to the hospital. The doctor treating baby was old college boyfriend. I think ones name was Ben. Sound familiar? Tried advanced search with no luck.
  5. I just started reading Red Rising by Pierce Brown. Kept skipping over for other things.
  6. I personally would have little use. It’s amazing technology though. Replicating limbs at an affordable cost. A friend replicated a new part for a machine he had, long discontinued. The technology is also becoming much more affordable. Uses are endless.
  7. A fun twist on Santa Claus. The magic comes alive when Nick Claus finds the boy of his dreams.

    Chapter 1

I like this take on Santa Claus... of course there’s a Mr. and Mr. Claus. Yes, I know we’re 11 days from Valentines Day, Oh well! Good job!
  9. That drives me bonkers. I walk away from those types too. You go around in circles.

    Chapter 3

Well damn! Things aren’t looking good for Styx. The bright side is them not trying to destroy each other. I love the calming nature of Grim. Loving this one Cynus!
  11. Good job Comsi! I’ve read stories where there’s too many flaws, and too perfect. When a character is too perfect, story falls flat. That’s unrealistic and boring. Not to mention, completely unrelatable. Flaws are what connect you to a character. What makes them real in a story. Allows the reader to contemplate the scenario. Sympathize and empathize a characters growth in a story. For good, or bad.
  12. This is a little gem. While Christmas themed, it’s enjoyable year round. Sawyer is uptight. Kable is persistent. What ensues can only be described as calamitous dating. Dates might be a little disastrous, but sparks fly. a definite good read when you had a bad day.
  13. A well done prompt. Quite the unexpected turn.

    Stranger

This was a sweet story. First crush, anxiety, and shyness. A poignant look at a blossoming connection.

    Acquainting

Who doesn’t like a little animalistic sex. The goddess knows all. The chemistry shows this trio is a match. *howl*

    Chapter 1

Not much to say on most first chapters. The beginning has peaked my interest. By first glance, the father is a bit of a tool.
  17. Off to a great start. Nothing wrong with a little fun. However; I hope Ritchie doesn’t find himself going off the rails. I hope CJ means what he says. His college years are important to experience. Politics will be there for the rest of his life. Nothing wrong with staying visible though.
  18. I will never know what a parent feels when a child leaves the nest. I do know how the child feels though. When they know their loved, they will never be far. You have raised your children to be respectful, responsible, and self-sufficient. Those are the ones who change the world and make a difference.
  19. Really good chapter. I think that Teddy, Oliver, and Ryder will be instrumental in healing each other. Mending and building relationships. Ryder can teach Oliver the pitfalls from experience. Something tells me someone important is in ER. I think Teddy will be working on one of his parents, Blake, or Liz.
  20. I’m a fan of Cynus’s stories. Original and not cookie cutter. This story is no different. Sometimes love has no limitations. Even if that’s in life, or death. Throw in magic and Greek mythology. You have a winning recipe for a story. Well worth the read.

    4-10 - Unity

I love the story. Epilogue, not so much. Ethan is where he belongs. There’s just things unfinished. Maybe that was purposeful. Leaving things unfinished.

    4-9 - Oaths

Their love will help keep balance. Good chapter.

    4-8 - Faith

Luckily I know you’re writing. This is not a chapter. 💋

    4-7 - Drink

Using love, compassion, and understanding. Just perfect, even with a lousy cliffhanger.

    4-6 - Duty

Smart to stay in the realm of the living. Hopefully their energy merges before Death realizes.
