  1. Scenery also depends I’m less critical of a place like NYC. Author should have basic understanding. However; I lived there for years. Stores and restaurants come and go so often.
  2. I don’t mind stories about hometown, or city I live in. With that said; I am more critical. It’s sloppy writing when author doesn’t research locale.

    January

Nice chapter! I like January. I see a pattern and have a theory. The stone is producing pride flag colors, which means 6 mates. Red means life Orange means healing Yellow means light Green means nature Blue means harmony/peace Purple means spirit.
  4. Jason is home from college to celebrate his sister’s Sweet 16. He is introduced to her boyfriend Blake. There’s a definite connection for Jason and Blake... Will anything develop? A well written story of attraction, and what you know to be right, or wrong.

  5. Cal is the baseball player hiding sexuality. Jake enters the picture and changes everything. Cal is left analyzing his life. Will he choose his true path? A well written story. A story of courage, regret, change, and love.

    Chapter 7

I think they are friends. Carter may think he’s helping, but he’s being selfish. I understand he has no friends, but his experiences aren’t TJ’s.

    I Could Tell

Great job Comsi. There’s no doubt there’s gaydar. I don’t know how many times it flashed when I was younger. Sometimes it was like laser focus. I’m happy you had Jason turndown Blake. It was a lesson for Blake. You also don’t highlight the pedo-lech stereotype. Thanks for not giving any credence to that notion.
  8. Great review Puppi. I read this long ago, and was left in awe. The way Skinny narrates is extremely difficult. He pulled it off effortlessly. The repetitive chaos of Etthan’s story is a definite must read.

    Chapter 7

TJ is going to be a tough nut to crack. Almost impossible with Carter’s interference. He isn’t looking to help TJ. Carter wants TJ to stay miserable with him.
  10. I have no doubt that this district will lose. In past administrations federal funding could be pulled. Won’t happen now. I also feel this type of case should have personal liability to principal and superintendent. Would make people think twice before violating someone’s rights.
  11. A topical story full of courage. Risking everything for a forbidden love. Even when your actions might put lives on the line. Well written and gripping.

  12. A blossoming love never to be. Memories and what ifs that taunt you. A well written story of the forbidden love two young boys never fully realize.

Sayonara douchebag! Don’t let the door hit your sorry ass on the way out... YAY Ryder! You’re making progress.

Well written. Thankfully not what I pictured. When you ran the second time, I was hating this professor. I thought it was a revolving door of students. Nice ending.
  16. This was well written and so damn sad. If your love doesn’t hurt anyone, it doesn’t matter. While he had a life. Was it really a fulfilling one. Thankfully the youth now don’t endure to that extent anymore. Poor Jamie!
  17. You totally threw me off. I did not see that coming. I’ll be craving cake for the rest of the day. Well done Puppi.
  18. So many emotions in this short. Never would have considered this route. Otis did a wonderful thing. Very well written.
  19. Wow! So different than anything you’ve done Dodger. I really like what you did with Forbidden. Makes you think of what’s going on. Well done.
  20. Very nice job Tim. It’s been awhile, but maybe a revisit to Valdemar is in my future.

    Forbidden

An ending I didn’t anticipate. Subject handled delicately. Not something normally read, but consenting adults not coerced. Well done A!

    Off Limits

Really well done. I understand Robert’s reluctance. You sometimes can’t help who you love. I can’t wait until the bug nags you again Sweet Pea.
  23. Thanks for your input. My fears are of failure, rejection, heights, snakes, spiders, bugs. The most severe has happened since going blind. Not seeing surroundings in big crowds.
  24. I look forward to these. Bravo to the participants. Thanks for the image description @Cia.
  25. I thank everyone for sharing stories, and the tools that have helped you.
