I think with Milan's transformation complete and his acceptance of being Rory’s mate, Milan’s first communication when he woke was the telepathic way Rory and his intimates relate to each other, delighting Rory at how complete the transformation was and at hearing his love call him “mate”.

An absolutely beautiful metamorphosis. I can’t wait to see a reborn Milan. 🦋 💞

Dude is giving off some kind of pheromone that have people flocking to him like bees to flowers. A lot of people do seem to want his “pollination”. 🐝 🌺 And what’s Jared fussing about? He’s one of those queueing up for a ride on the Paul pole too 💈 (unless he wants to be the one riding Paul) 🐪 😶 Something is ripening for the picking on our sexy widower, whether he’s ready or not. 🥭

It was “A Good Servant”. I was excited to see another story from you on another site and started to read it. As you said, the sexual content is, um....NC-17 rated compared to the stories you post here. Giving me the other title had me look that one up, too. 😊

Boxers?? I know you publish on other sites, (I read a HOT story from you on Nifty a few months ago) Where is it?! What is it?! 😳 🥺

Oh. Would that we all be loved by “Box Shaped Hearts” 🥰 If I had ever read or seen “Alice in Wonderland”, I might have suspected this ending with Carter forgetting the body swap (would you like a mint?) but I’m glad it was a surprise; A bittersweet surprise but understood, as everything used to help us grow doesn’t stay, it serves its purpose and life goes on. I am curious who Alex was talking to when he got back into his car....did his guardian angel come back from witness protection? I kinda feel that entity is what made Alex do the right thing in the end. This story was so interesting in what it revealed about what lies beneath: Alex for example- he is considered selfish and superficial, yes, but no one truly knows the black heart that exists in and motivates him and he can easily do what he does because his “beauty” is an effective mask. There are many “Alex’s” among us but there are many “Carters”, too, so the battle of good vs. evil continues on. The ponytail girl, while providing much needed information, still made me sad in her all to common “film but don’t get involved” mindset. What a voyeuristic society we’ve become. This was definitely one of the most interesting stories I’ve ever read, Goldie. I think you are one of less than a handful of authors for me that possess the ability to make me read any genre, simply because you’re the author. You tell amazing stories, write hot sex and great characters; Thank you for sharing your gift, Laura. I sadly look forward to the epilogue next week.

Kindness really is a precious commodity and a little of it can go such a long way. “If you never say anything, nobody can help.” Truer words haven’t been spoken. You and Razor move me so much. Bless you both.

I totally get the kids having an issue with their dad potentially hooking up with the woman who caused trouble in their parent’s marriage, they may feel especially protective of their deceased mom’s memory. I can even see them treating their dad like crap because he cheated on their mom. Justified or not, there seems a note or two off rhythm in Paul’s interaction with his children, even the one he’s always “been able to connect with at a deeper level”. It’s just another interesting chord on Paul’s new sheet music.

I’m sorry if I upset you, 😟 I still think this story is very, very good.

Hearing one child (Deidre?) had problems with the law and a number of children with different fathers (who had custody of the children and not her) did give the impression that there were challenges in her life (and thus her parent’s life) but that didn’t have to mean she was without compassion. (At least I didn’t think so from that) It was the homophobic attitudes of Robert and Deidre, (not that all homophobes are cold) as well as the conversations they had with their dad that gave me the flat impression of them: Robert: “Well, I think you’re being stupid and stubborn.” “Gee, thanks, son. Your support is underwhelming.” Deidre: “I understand Mom’s,” she retorted sadly. “I know you believe so, I’m just not sure as after having been with your mother for twenty-seven years, I see it differently.” “So I guess we disagree.” “I guess so. Still love you though.” “Me too. Love you, Dad. Sara: “Maybe Cheryl will treat you better than Annie did.” I understand (all too well) the issues children can have with their parents, maybe they are sparkling examples of humanity when not dealing with daddy.

Paul’s kids are....interesting. The biological gene pool can produce a vast array of individuals. While I know Paul and Annie couldn’t be perfect, their children seem to lack the warmth of their parents; I get a rather soulless impression of them. Looking forward to Chicago and this next act in Paul’s life. 🎹 🎼 🎶

Aiden truly loves Jordan, Jordan got lucky with Aiden’s reaction. I rejoice in any luck Noah and Jordan get because I have a feeling every reaction will not go so well; knowing some important people are in your corner will help cushion those blows for those who may not be. Yay for exploration in their sex life; It is special to be able to indulge in fantasies with the one you love (and trust).

I’m glad to see another Don and Louis adventure, yay!! At the beginning of the story, I feared the victims of the accident were Louis’ sister and brother in law and the child in the wheelchair was their nephew but was glad to later read on that they were fine (and there is now a niece and nephew. 🥳) I must admit tho, that I’m a little annoyed with how the foster situation was handled; I feel Robert should have approached the both of them with such a momentous change to their lives to give them the chance to discuss it from the outset; by the time Louis was informed, it seemed the decision was already made....by Robert and Don. Yes, Don can be emotional support to Max, but Louis will be the one doing all the physical work for now two disabled people and I wish he had more of a say. With that being said, lol, I know there would be no story without this situation and I’m buckled up for the ride. 😊 Your writing is so vivid, tim: “I pulled a deep violet and white checked tablecloth out of the bottom drawer in the kitchen island, and put it on the table. Atop that, I put Rena and Robert's flowers; it felt like spring.” “I hung up my jacket, washed my hands and went into the kitchen. Our guests were up, the air smelled of cinnamon, fresh sweet bread, and coffee.” “We each served ourselves one of the generous slices of the pecan coffee cake, and spread on dollops of sweet butter. We chatted and drank some more coffee. It was a wonderful breakfast.” your turns of phrase paints a very clear picture, like the story is from your reader’s POV, as I can imagine myself eating that coffee cake!! 😄 A very good start....

This is hot and beautiful, touched with the erotic and the sensually romantic. (Morning sex is the best!!) What a lovely love letter. Thank you for sharing, tim.

I agree that Paul should take the piano gig temporarily long term, lol. Interesting that Jared will be there too, for a time. Paul. and. Jared. Paul. and. Jared. “Rah. Rah. Cis. Boom. Bah.”

Thomas is a diva mental case; He has no couth or grace and is acting fatally attracted to Paul. “I hate you” Really?? (Did he really think he was going to get away with smacking a man twice his age?!?!) and psychobitch better be on his best behavior when Paul goes to the gym or little Tom Tom will be out of a job. I want Paul and Jared together.

This chapter was the best one yet. “Then Rory grabbed Rick’s right fist, and with all the power surging through him, he broke Rick’s arm.” With the strength of the town, the tide turned on the fight and exposed all the secrets the town needed to know. The exposure of Rick’s evil will ensure the town is whole once again. Seems there should be some type of rule in place to assist an Alpha if he loses his mate; Johanna Morgan’s death disabled Connor’s ability to hear the voice of the town, which essentially disabled his ability to lead. Ilaria & Ayu’s devotion to Milan should not be rewarded with finding him gone when they awake but it is that devotion that made Rory have to sneak Milan out, lol. The Takedas don’t trust anyone else to look after Milan properly and that may have been true, before Rory. There are now four people who are “Team Milan”; He can’t help but get better now, especially when he mates with Rory; It’s always been my belief that the right um, “infusion” can make anything better. 😉. Very much looking forward to the next chapter....

I also wondered why the other wolves couldn’t smell him being sick. Could his illness also be heightening his ambitions for leadership, making him megalomaniacal, or was he already that way? Whichever came first, I feel he’s battling both physical and mental problems.

The chapter title was a good tease-first I thought Paul was going to start up with Cheryl again; Then when I saw how awesome Jared was being to him throughout the chapter and called him to hang out, I thought something might kick off between them, (even without being sure they had a sexual/romantic past). Instead, it wound up being a lovely chapter detailing Paul’s progress in mourning, while showing he still has a long way to go. I hope Paul relies more on his music for healing; I loved the atmosphere you created with the jazz night, wished I was there.

I was sad at the start of this chapter but you sure know how to make things up to someone, LOL!! Happy New Year, Goldie and thank you for how “Unmoored” ended, I can’t wait for next week. I am still curious about Alex’s turn, tho. He could’ve kept Simon on the side and continued what he was doing, did he get bored with him? I mean Simon is better off without him but Alex doesn’t seem to be following mommy dearest’s advice about having more than one guy around; The twisted fuck has me scratching my head. The reunion sex between Carter and Aron was way hot (as reunion sex should be of course, 😉). The only thing left to happen after ponytail girl clears up the events around the accident is for C&A to admit they love each other and get married once Aron’s free (no, you are not waiting 15 years, Carter.) Does Carter know ponytail girl? I got the impression he was remembering her as well as the accident. Great installment. 👏

I remember reference of an affair in Paul’s marriage to Annie in the first chapter but I thought it was with a guy when he mentioned to Jared something about not going on that side of the street in a long time in another chapter; I’m surprised the affair was with a woman. Tommy is majorly butt hurt over seeing Paul with Cheryl, he’s acting a bit too possessive in my opinion; Paul “unintentionally” flirted with Tommy, not picked out china patterns, what’s with the attitude?!?! Jared is right tho, Paul is going to be up in some type of romantic entanglement sooner instead of later.

You can’t fix people who want to stay broken, in the end, he fixed himself the way he chose to and that isn’t on you. I think you made him see whatever better self in him still existed but he rejected it, punished you for it, in a way. I’m actually put in mind of Headstall’s story “The Tree” when I think of you and Jeff, except you saved yourself. That you chose to stay with him speaks to how open you were to love and acceptance after the ruthless rejection of your father....how I wish you had stumbled upon a priest when you got off the bus. As you say, it is the past now and a testament to your present is how you are able to revisit it to purge it. 👏 Happy Saturday to you.

I sit, arms around my knees while staring up at the stars. And I wonder which of them is ours—our witness— the holder of our history. I loved this phrasing!! ❤️ ❤️ Such a unique way of looking at the stars; Such a knowingly beautiful way to describe love. Thank you, tim.

Happy New Year, tim. I know in a past story you explained the rough life Jeff had as a way of justifying his treatment of you but when I read things like this, it’s a reminder to me there isn’t any. There are many, many victims of abuse that do not victimize, That you were innocent and fresh upon meeting Jeff should have been incentive enough to help lead you away from the path he instead ruthlessly pimped you on. He fed off your purity for his own survival in vile, horrific ways, I’m thankful you still have it. My mother’s heart aches when you share these tales but I’m glad you do; besides helping you, it shows how you broke the cycle, you are still sweet and loving and talented. I hope you know how strong you are; I wish you and Mike an amazing 2019. 🎉🎁

Wow. Do I need to get a stamp on my passport to kick someone’s ass?? Sometimes we never know the power the past holds until we are confronted with it again. A scab forms over a wound after it’s healed, when recovering from a deep injury, we may not be aware the scab is there until someone picks at it. Recognizing you’re stronger than you thought you were is a good way to start the New Year. To quote Alicia Keyes 🎤 🎶“It’s called karma, baby and it goes around” 🎶. People will have to wipe their emotional feet at another hearth. 🍻
