V interesting comments. Me likewise, I first drank at 20, never done drugs, never had much money as a teenager so at one level it is hard to empathize with these guys and their highly dangerous drunken party on a plane. That said, mark’s description is so good that I just go with the flow and live vicariously. Great chp.

This could easily be nominated, by me at least, as one of the best chps of the Granger series, why? Because Mark A delves into the personality of his creation and the reactions of Granger are, I believe, totally consistent with the characterisation as developed in earlier books. This is one of my go to books when I need chilling out. Oh to be on that veranda sipping a chilled drink ( not rum, please) and watching the harbour. If I win the lottery I will follow in Granger’s footsteps.

Another tome completed over the weekend. Although the next volume is a personal favourite, this one lays the base really well showing Granger’s leadership skills. 🤗

Frankly, they are as bad as each other. Both super judgmental, both utterly in love, both with a fail in communication skills. And that’s the mix that makes the story so good for me. 😍

Rereading this I don’t really get the negativity of the first few comments. First of all it’s a story, do the people act in character within the perimeters set by the story? Absolutely. Has Gordy been a dick after 10+ drinks? Yes. Have I been in this situation, albeit without a romper suit? No comment. Personally, I think mrs G does a great job and it is definitely worth reading the next chapter, one of the funniest I’ve read on the site. Ace

Re reading this a couple of years after (unbelievable) I think that Matt’s “logic” is beautifully and accurately described for his age and experience. Seamus is quite a bit older and worldly-wise, and yet totally naïf en so much. A huge triumph for mrs G in her characterisation and plot. I’m so loving this reread. Xxxx -
A very unusual laundry problem leads to meeting the man of his dreams. A highly original and very amusing tale packed into a dense 1600 words. wildone has done an excellent response to the prompt. highly recommended 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗

Thanks methodwriter, but I have an important question. Is there a minimum number of participants for an encounter to be called an orgy? If a threesome is considered an orgy then I can boast that I have been in one! Reading the stories of the conceptions of the next generation in CAP altogether is somewhat mind-boggling but spread out over books and years it seems almost normal! All hail to Mr A. 👏👏👏👏

This becomes evermore like a Shakespearean comedy but with men dressed as cats and not girls. Still, if Sunny Hill did put on A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Connor could easily play Bottom…… He would try out for director but get turned into a donkey Zoe, Titania, Queen of the fairies, Jonathan, a great Oberón King of the fairies Rusty, of course would be Puck ok, Laura, your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to put on A Midsummer Night’s Dream 😴
