  1. Sorry, J.El but there were no views or no comments when I got the notification here in Spain. So, so sorry if time zoning was a problem for you….. 😛I might be willing to share him on days of the week with no letter “y” in them. Generosity on my part. Xxxxx
  2. Hee hee got here first so Rusty is definitely mine!!

    Chapter 25

This could easily be nominated, by me at least, as one of the best chps of the Granger series, why? Because Mark A delves into the personality of his creation and the reactions of Granger are, I believe, totally consistent with the characterisation as developed in earlier books. This is one of my go to books when I need chilling out. Oh to be on that veranda sipping a chilled drink ( not rum, please) and watching the harbour. If I win the lottery I will follow in Granger’s footsteps.

    Chapter 25

Another tome completed over the weekend. Although the next volume is a personal favourite, this one lays the base really well showing Granger’s leadership skills. 🤗

    Chapter 5

This first story, Mark, is so good. Really, really good. 🤗
  6. A truly wonderful, if deluded, comment. Seriously (?), Joie, your verbal sparring is on the 5***** level. The GA badge system should have a special one for you.

    A long work week

Frankly, they are as bad as each other. Both super judgmental, both utterly in love, both with a fail in communication skills. And that’s the mix that makes the story so good for me. 😍
  8. I’m not finding this a hard task to re-reread…. Or am I?? 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗
  9. I so enjoy your comments and analysis of so many stories. At times I feel as if I’m stalking you!

I do hope your creative juices are flowing, mrs g if I might refer to you this). I’m going through your back catalogue with real enjoyment. After an 11 hour day, again, I’ve collapsed on my bed and am preparing myself for the next chapter…. love from Spain

    Chapter 76

An ace comment! Mr A has warned us we could be in cold turkey for months as he visits England. Patience is not one of my virtues…… or yours?? 🤗

Rereading this I don’t really get the negativity of the first few comments. First of all it’s a story, do the people act in character within the perimeters set by the story? Absolutely. Has Gordy been a dick after 10+ drinks? Yes. Have I been in this situation, albeit without a romper suit? No comment. Personally, I think mrs G does a great job and it is definitely worth reading the next chapter, one of the funniest I’ve read on the site. Ace
  14. Stop thinking about kids and start fucking my ass nothing more needs adding…….. apart from a huge thank you xxxx
  15. Enjoy! Though it will be warm! I’m off to UK to escape the heat. Yes, 5 yrs on would be fun. Xxx
  16. In one of the many gratuitous insults my Spanish boss has shared over the years: “the trouble is you English are so false”. (Pots and kettles came to mind). But when I comment here on GA I really mean it. I’ve had a tough few years and you authors have helped me so much to relax, smile and be motivated. You are the BOSS. XXX
  17. Totally agree mfa607! I’m on third read through on a grey rainy day here in Spain. Still after no rain for months, literally, it’s great to lie back and read a classic from mrs G. She is the Boss!
  18. Re reading this a couple of years after (unbelievable) I think that Matt’s “logic” is beautifully and accurately described for his age and experience. Seamus is quite a bit older and worldly-wise, and yet totally naïf en so much. A huge triumph for mrs G in her characterisation and plot. I’m so loving this reread. Xxxx
  19. A very unusual laundry problem leads to meeting the man of his dreams. A highly original and very amusing tale packed into a dense 1600 words. wildone has done an excellent response to the prompt. highly recommended 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗

    Chapter 1

1600 words of pure (???) joy. Loved it 😍

    Chapter 76

Thanks methodwriter, but I have an important question. Is there a minimum number of participants for an encounter to be called an orgy? If a threesome is considered an orgy then I can boast that I have been in one! Reading the stories of the conceptions of the next generation in CAP altogether is somewhat mind-boggling but spread out over books and years it seems almost normal! All hail to Mr A. 👏👏👏👏
  22. This becomes evermore like a Shakespearean comedy but with men dressed as cats and not girls. Still, if Sunny Hill did put on A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Connor could easily play Bottom…… He would try out for director but get turned into a donkey Zoe, Titania, Queen of the fairies, Jonathan, a great Oberón King of the fairies Rusty, of course would be Puck ok, Laura, your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to put on A Midsummer Night’s Dream 😴

    Chapter 76

Not sure that Cody was there. My memory says it came out as a bit of a surprise that he and Jeanine had slept together….. and now for a quiet few days in Hawaii……. Or not. Great chp.
  24. 20 + yrs ago I went with my new partner to Brighton and had after Sunday lunchtime pub drinks with friends of a friend. Tapas were provided but what I didn’t see was that the British Airways steward host was refilling my partner’s glass behind his back. At three we left, me sober as I was driving, Paco declaring “I Love Brighton” , and then the nightmare of getting an absolutely pissed guy back to London without him doing a “Brad Schuyler” out of the window…. Not been back since. But still together which is something.. Brighton is dangerous but wonderful. Xxx
  25. What a lovely message. Much better than I could have said. Oh well, we can do cold turkey together 🤗
