He once got out of bed, went downstairs sleepwalking went into the kitchen, put a chair on a table, climbed up and took out the lightbulb 💡 Totally unaware. My sister was pretty scared!) -

As advertised by the author, this is not the usual mega saga but a 4,000 word piece. CJ, Ozzie and Liebe are back in DC after Mexico finished so badly. The three densely-packed chapters are a valid piece of writing in their own right but together they show us passing on to the importance of future plans. all is written by a master of plotting and characterization, who else but don Carlos H. Essential reading for his many, many fans. good one, Carlos

I’m in awe of how you write ms M. I’ve got my ideas and just need to write- I can do academic articles, course books but haven’t the ….. to put myself on the line with fiction. I’ve had a shit two years health wise with a misdiagnosis of stage four liver disease - which was confirmed and then exposed as crap in the same hospital. You, Carlos H, and Mark A, and others, have kept me sane. Now it’s payback time so get ready to “like” my poor efforts. Huge hugs

Firstly, some facts: this was written 8yrs ago, second, I am a confirmed Arbour fan and addict. That said, rereading this truly amazing Odyssey has been a huge pleasure. I’m a historian by training, though a DPhil from Oxford in medieval monasteries is a bit different from the Napoleonic Wars (!), and have to say that the historical detail is wonderful, the way on board is created in such a lively way, and, above all, as literature and not history, the characters you have invented or adopted are almost real in front of our eyes. well done and I hope you realise, Mark, that your labours of old are still bringing pleasure. 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗

This is indeed one of the best in the series - but what follows in the next installment is truly amazing. it’s the last day of my summer holiday and I’m pigging out on George’s adventures. But the lack of a phone call on 9.11 anniversary or his birthday etc. Mark, your talent is, I have to admit, best shown in characters who drive readers mad, or inspire, or who make us laugh with them. In the years I have been reading GA , in sickness and now health, your characters have been truly entertaining in the best sense. Thank you so much

I read this a while ago and have just finished a reread. I really enjoyed this. The “intrigues” helped make it different from the usual adult male meets adult male. although written ten years ago, I’ve read only one or two other stories that get the mixture right between passion and suspense as well as this. well worth a read

Sorry but they are alive and well with Asian-origin girls being shipped back to an arranged marriage if they shown independent values. Birmingham (UK) ladies toilets have signs - Are you being forced to leave against your will? Contact anyone in security etc. So sad in 2022.- 51 comments

Uff! This chapter has it all. Now Maddox knows all, a key barrier overcome if Jonathan is going to become whole and at peace with himself. And then, and then, “Drew” appears, worse in the flesh than in the video. Urghhhhh I await the appearance of Jonathan’s mother with interest.
