In a local beach near Valencia, those who dare to assemble umbrellas etc in “la primera linea” and head off for hours will find the umbrellas gone and a (large) fine awaiting them…. Take note holiday makers around the Med!!

Trust me, having been there with my mother and a dear friend, you can inspect one too many pottery pieces with lemon decorations. Being taken to a market in Amalfi was against my human rights!!

Okay, we’ve had the seafood linguine ( no cheese, please for me), now bring on a delicious semifredo dessert with lemoncello. This is making me seriously hungry after a snack supper. great stuff, mr C 🤗

Thought-provoking. Yes, I remember the old scene in London, shaking hands with the Village People’s cowboy, falling into wet concrete as I left Heaven, climbing along a low roof to get in at 03.00. Those were the days…..

A great line up of characters, each flawed to some extent. A lot can happen in 150k words and I’m hooked !!! good work, so far.

A change of style in the CJ and Owen ( and Liebe) sagas. A stand-alone 8,000 word story which allows fans to see how Mexico drama was in fact more dramatic than we thought, and outlines indicated for the future. even Carlos’s most demanding fans must be satisfied with the visit to Key West. I was, you will be. 5*****

An utterly intense couple of hours. I hope they get off the boat asap, 1 because it ain’t safe out there with a loony “pastor”, and, 2 more importantly for me, I hate boats, can be seasick in a harbour, how I cope with Northern Exposure is a miracle! Get them back on shore, please mr Dodger. ps returning the so-called pastor is optional. 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗 -
Yes, I’m an addict of your stories. And yes I was in that hotel. My mother was with me and ill, so I “just had to” wander around, and fall in love with the town. And then I discovered Parsifal and made the connection. thanks for such great, evocative tales. 🤗

When someone writes this well, as you imply, it doesn’t matter. The author drives me mad at times as I think I’ve worked out how they tick and then Mrs M throws something into the mix to keep me guessing. As you say, Jay is pretty smart - and determined, single-minded etc etc. oh for more, if Mrs m is listening……. 🤗

Just found this series. Nice echoes for me of visiting Soho shops as a student long before 97 but the same neuroses. Great start. I’m hooked 😊

Not sure how I missed this but it’s a great father reconnecting with son story with twists and turns on the way. the whole series of Tampa books is great. Easily 5*****
