I wasn't asking for THAT reason I just noticed when Raimey took them to the room I didn't notice any mention of where Snave was surely he would be close by ready to protect. Perhaps I missed the mention of where Snave was easy to do when there are 13,000 words

It's not a big deal but the room Jamie and Gavin are using where is Snave when they are doing what they are doing out in front I guess? @drpaladin was right that was a kick ass battle scene I shudder to think what would do if I had access to the a lens like Jamie has.Of course I would also use it for good like have it tell GA authors to write sequels to certain stories

Needless to say I haven't read the chapter yet but 13,519 WORDS!!!!!!.How many chapters would this story have if you were a normal person. Of course the term normal is relative if this was me I would find 481 extra words so the word count wouldn't have the number 13 in it🤷‍♂️

Oh you are such a cut-up

At the time I'm writing this there have been 14 other reviews and from what I can tell there is nothing about the story they missed they covered everything that is great about this story. So instead I will tell you what this story made me do. For about 2-3 years my top 5 stories on GA haven't wavered and showed no signs of doing so.(My top 30 maybe even more are stories worthy of being is someone's Top 5 that just shows how deep GA library goes) Any way this story has knocked another incredible story by an incredible author out of my top 5. I won't rank or mention the others but what I will say is the difference between the number 1 story to the number 5 story is less than a tenth of a percent. If you don't think much of my opinion just look at the reviews on comments of other readers and you'll know I am not overstating this.A must, must read

After 4 pages of comments there is absolutely nothing I can add except "Wow!!!just wow!!!!!".There are a handful of GA stories that I look at again and again and I knew way before I finished it this was going to be one of them. You see the great response you got from the readers but its even more then you realize because I was drawn to this story by somebody who didn't comment on this story.He's very active now in commenting on GA but at the time this was posted he wasn't I'm guessing he has since started commenting on your later stories if you're curious his profile name is Summerabbacat. I'm going to reveal something in my review of this story that will really state my opinion of the story. So I guess I'll start on your Camp Refuge series unless you think I should go to another story instead. The readers sort of gave away a big part of the Guarded story so I'm sort of guarded about reading it (Duh!) Again thank you so much for this beautiful story

You really pulled at the heart strings with the scene between Grant and Sandra I'm glad they bridged the gap but it's sad that it took Sandra getting MS to do so.I like @raven1wonder how Grant is going to handle owning the Winery.No way would he and Troy leave their life in Vermont.I have a few thoughts maybe there's a cousin from one of the Aunts and Uncles who isn't a jerk like the others and respects the family business and do right by it.Grant could also enlist the help of Gavin who would only suggest what would be best for the winery and who can be trusted. Can't wait to find out more about Beth one thing is sure she certainly fits in with the group of friends

The Prince reasoning for turning down Urban shows a lot of depth to the Prince character.Outsiders who don't understand the Prince's reasoning might think the Prince made a mistake and after hearing about the consequences they would think the Prince committed a boner(so sorry about that one)

Awesome chapter .Interesting that Andy doesn't want to be adopted .I'm hoping it's because he made friends at Angel's home and doesn't want to leave them.The fact that Andy want to stay there shows what a great job Tommy and Pepe are doing.Angel's home isn't no ordinary place

We have read this kind of story a lot on GA what looks like a permanent situation for the protagonist has a chance to change as a results of meeting a special someone and a lot of complication come up while our protagonist is going on this journey. What sets apart these kinds of stories is how the author is her/his way takes you there.This Author is more then up to it as you'll see

As with Sandra not telling William about Grant and Troy I'm curious that she let Grant leave without telling him.In this case there may be a reason I'm not considering as Sandra doesn't seem to be someone who does something for no reason. I totally agree with your response to @chris191070.For all her rough qualities Sandra a stand up person she wouldn't let Troy take rap for something that wasn't his fault even when it meant exposing something she wanted to keep from William. I had wished more reader would have mentioned that

I'm guessing Sandra is with holding the news of her condition because she wanted to have one more normal birthday celebration with Grant (bad singing not withstanding)

When Gurd and Skriva appeared I was reminded of the old TV show Kung Fu in every episode there always was a few morons that wanted to F with Caine and they didn't realize this was the last person they wanted to mess with same thing here. When Snave extracted bursts of flames at their feet I was reminded of some lyrics from a song from the 70's"Their heads were on fire and their asses was catching" great scene. Now to see what's going to happen with the castle's Guards

Why did Sandra not tell William about Grant and Troy.I think he deserved a heads up. I actually had no problem with Sandra's interrogation the question were tough but fair although the living of Grant's salary comment is a hell of a thing to say at a first meeting

In the last chapter Roni implied that she was going to have a nice calm private chat with Craig but what happens instead? Roni released my hand and pushed me into Craig.” Here,” she said. “He’s all yours.” I guess she was ticked off at Craig's " lovebirds" comment and this was her way of saying "I know what's up" While I don't blame her for being mad she had to have known doing that would not be good for Seth. Seth said I had read a couple of gay stories on the internet. If he read any @Ronyx stories he would know Craig is bad news .Maybe he'll come across this story before it's too late 😄 The more we find out about Blake the scarier it sounds not eating for days and staying in his room saying he hates his life and wants to kill himself and disappearing for days at a time Amber saying “He always says that when he gets upset. I’m getting so sick of him.” Tells me they are not taking things seriously enough. I get that they can't afford to get help for Blake but isn't there some option through the school or State for something like this? Situatons like this can be dangerous for other students. We find out where Blake has been staying when he runs away it was 15 minutes away from Amber's house so that means it was farther away from Blake's parents house when he lived there didn't his parents wonder where he went during those times? I'm sort of surprised other homeless people don't know about this place Blake goes to(Or maybe that is going to be revealed) At the end of the chapter we have “I want you,” I whispered softly in his ear. He pulled away, looked into my eyes and kissed me. Combine that with Seth wanting things to continue with Craig and those two things are bound to conflict.So The jealous bully Craig has only threaten Seth with bodily harm and that's bad enough but I fear Blake might get hurt also

I have a little of what Rhett has but usually I'm with the right kind of people to help guide me. It would be interesting to know a little more about Grant's backstory and how it may have influenced his actions with Rhett.Did he go to a private school?(I forgot if that was mentioned)And was he able to have a best bud like most people or did his mother control that also.
