Can't say I'm at all surprised at Davey's Mom reaction and although her reasoning is flawed it is certainly understandable.But I get a feeling this will never get resolved in this lifeline she won't ever let this go. I"m also not surprised Sean came back from 2004.So many many things have gone wrong in this lifeline that if they had the chance go back a third time they would take it. I mentioned this because maybe Sean from 2004 had observed enough to maybe try to build another one of the invention they would only do that if armageddon or something close to that happens but seeing how things are going they might have to try. Another thing Sean said about how the guys in Modesto acted toward him it looks like not only Brian but Trevor and Brandon are also different as a result of not having met Davey earlier.

Wow this lifeline is worst then his first lifeline at least in his first lifeline his relatives died in conventional ways.I was so worried it was going to go down like this and in a otherwise very good story you can say it was unrealistic that the military and intelligence community didn't understand this well enough. It has been brought up a little by other readers like @NimirRajin the last chapter comments.Davey is excited by Brian coming but he more than anybody else should understand there's a chance this won't be the same Brian. I remember in Do Over Davey saying Brian had been a borderline bully in this timeline Brian doesn't have the advantage of meeting Davey when he did so his personal maturation process may not be the same.
