If Owen's dad had any skills of observation he might notice Owen is not that enthusiastic about the business especially compared to Eric.But as far as we know he's too engrossed about his business to notice. Even under the best conditions any reasonable person can see Ryder is moving WAY to fast. A go between,arbiter or what ever you want to call it needs to step in. The only people who might be able to do this are Beth and Jules

The step Tommy took in this chapter is the step Brian still has to take. I could understand when Brian was a teenager but now? I'm thinking WTH. If Brian calls out of the blue again if I'm Tommy I don't know if I would answer it

It might even be worse than that. She might know what Caleb is saying is true but it may be better for her sick narrative to act like what he's saying isn't true. I'm thinking about the pills I don't know if Caleb can convincingly put the pills on the side of his mouth or under his tongue to avoid taking them. As gross as this is he may have to force regurgitate them. Maybe the incubator's sister overheard the commotion on the phone. Right now she would not get it but if Caleb gets well enough to remember things and accuses the incubator of what she is doing perhaps the sister will remember hearing what she heard over the phone and put 2+2 together
