As I was reading the chapter I was imagining this confrontation happening with Aunt Daisy but I thought it would be in a future chapter. I don't remember if you said if the church they were going to was Catholic or not. I never heard a homily in church where homosexuality was the topic and I never heard anything even remotely as hateful as this pastor. Although I do know they exist in other churches .Remember the "God hates fags" pastor? Also another reason I doubt that would be a topic in a Catholic Church is their own very poor record with pedo priests and the appalling way they handled it. Aunt Daisy just totally rejected her culture I would say that is such an overreaction just because her father left them.Is she ashamed of being Native American? So it looks like Jacy will either go to Aunt Lily or his Grandfather. I'm hoping Micheal will end up there also. I wonder if Aunt Lily is aware of Skye's attitude toward relationships and that why Aunt Lily warned Jacy. I'm really looking forward to @Summerabbacat take on this. Well even if this didn't happen Nate has showed some signs.He seems more concerned about Evan's midterms then just a good friend would I wonder if he realizes it.
