I think Karl is trying to convince himself that he has no feelings for George. Wanting to keep George's condition from everyone I think is Karl's way of saying he will protect George. I think the act of kissing George even as Karl was trying to tell himself that it may make George feel better. It appears to be the correct thought as George pulls Karl close for another kiss. Karl has now gotten the attention of George. I think George is really in need to some intervention mentally. If Karl keeps George hidden away until he heals, that is going to be a major task. I do think Karl is feeling things he does not understand within his own body. Yet the kiss did feel better? It appears like George was beaten by at least a couple of other individuals and lucky that Karl did find him. Going to be a very interesting next few chapters.

I am thinking Karl is having some hot flashes after the kiss from George. If Karl has never been close to anyong other than his family, I can understand how this makes him feel uncomfortable with hiimself. I still thing that Karl's feelings and the emotions he is experienceing are his hormones that are getting awakened. George I ahead of Karl in the hormone department, and even he may not understand what he has awakened within Karl. When we can get the view from Karl's perspective, we may learn even more about his thoughts of George. He may even begin to miss George while staying with Paul. I feel Karl is slowly becoming more in tune with his feelings and what has happened by being kissed by George. I wonder if Margaret already has an understanding of what is happening with George? She probably knows him best. I am ready to read on and discover more about the two men..

Finally Jason and Nathan get accepted into Jason's family, so he al least can say he has a family. He and Jason will be good for each other and being brothers as well. They already had a bond that neither of them knew about. But being brothers and in a sexual relationship, is somewhat out of the ordinary it is not a total shock to me. I know of a couple of gay men who are brothers and they also were seperated shortly after birth from each other. They were told about the seperation and both of them actively searched for the other. They are all still together and one of these couples had adopted a child to be a part of their family. Lets hope Nathan can see his daughter with some differen visitaion arraingments .. Maybe even having complete visitaion on a regular basis. I hope Nathan forgets his dad, which sounds as though that will not be too difficult as well. Thank you for finally bringing Jason together with someone. I do hope there will be a volume two following Jasson and Nathan as they progress with the families and themselves.

I am wondering if there was some trauma that Ann Marie was involved in many years ago and mom is guilty of keeping it all secret. If there were a traumatic event this would explain why she was always so distant from the family. Just supposing is all. Tim either eats a truck load of Wheaties for breakfast of he is high on energy drinks. Sounds like he may be on his way of winning the circuit board lawsuite for Gramps. I am sure Tim has some plans for the farm as well. He seems to be one step ahead of everyone else. Maybe Donnie has more to do with this than we know. Mom is not "not well'. I still wonder about a possible traums event that everyone has no knowledge about except mom. Eva and John are trying to figure out what is causeing Ann Marie and here problem with Tim and the rest of the family. So am I. Good chapter, has lots going on especailly for Tim.

Kyle is now with his mom. I hope she is finally wanting to be Kyle's loving mother. Leaving his dad and making a new life with her son. We hope this will be was will help Kyle recover a little sooner as well. We still must find out what type of punishment Kyle will be getting. Will he be charged once he is able to leave the hosptial? Or has Matias taken the blame for everything that has happened? Will the two young men be reunited later? Will Kyle still feel the way he does about Matias when things are running better? It will take Kyle sometime to realize how lucky he is to be still breathing. Let's hope Kyle and his mother become a family of two and continue. Maybe Matias will be a part of Kyle's life as well. Or maybe..... Lets just read on!

Karl is from a family where he has no real people skills, he worked hard on the farm his parents have back across the Channel. But still Karl did not pull away immediately. He is also now feeling warm nearly ill with what a fever? Or is he actually having something deep inside of him trying to figure out what George was so upset about that his lips pressed against Karl's lips. Maybe George does have hidden feelings for Karl, since Karl seems to always be nearby George when there is an attempt of suicide. Has this really gone without notice by George. Many things can be going through George right now. We should discover why George was sobbing the first place. Was it because he felt something for Karl? Was he feeling for his love who had died on Dunkirk? And in that moment Karl suddenly appeared. It was Karl who reached out to George first. George just followed Karls lead and wrapped his arms around Karl. Seveal things can have meaning for this action my George. Karl is now the one who is having some thoughts as well. I think it is too early to actually determine what happeded between George and Karl. We should learn when George does speak to Karl. We may discover what George was feeling or thinking. I still am thinking about "the enemy of my enemy shall be my friend". Is Karl now looked at by George as something more now? Oh what strange things happen in love and war. New loves found and lost. Old loves lost and new loves found. Could the fact that George has been on the brink of death several times now at his own hand, with Karl suddenly there to intervene or cause things to be stopped. Does George deep down know that Karl is the one who has been there for him on all attempts to end his life which resulted in George's life to continue? We can be hopeful so let us read onward and learn ourselves .

I am hoping that all of the time and work Tim is placing on the issues with Ann Marie will make things better for all. Tim's mom seems to be falling apart as well. If she continues on the path she seems to be on, Things might end up becoming more difficult before they get better for everyone. Randy at least can stay with the Parkers. So that gets him away from Tim's mother, but what about Randy's mom. She is staying with Tim's dad and mom. WIll Randy suddenly get drawn into this situation if his mother begins to get badgered by Tim's mom? Will Tim's dad be able to handle Ann Marie and his wife along with Randy's mom if things really get heated? Tim's dad seems to be the one who is having to deal with everything while Tim is doing his best, but he is not actually involved with the everyday issues that are springing up with his mom, Ann Marie and possiblly with Randy's mom if she is drawn into the mix now. What a time we all have at family get togethers. All of the stories and the the fun and excitement when the entire family comes together. Will we see that happen here? I will be hopeful. Time to keep reading onward. Thank you for the near reality in the story.

While reading this chapter, I kept remembering a phrase that many of us may also recall. "The enemy of my enemy, shall be my friend". I cannot recall who said this phrase. But I kept thinking about it while reading this chapter. Does George think of Karl suddenly as his friend by doing this Pact of not telling the Hopkins. Does George really not want the Hopkins to learn of another act of suicide by George. Or has George suddenly had his mind opened by hurting Karl "accidentially" of course. After knowing that he did hurt Karl, does George really understand what he has been doing does infact harm others as well? I find this reaction by George somewhat positive but I also can see George not wanting Karl to say anything as to give more time for George to try again? I am going to think of this action by George as something towards a positive, but at the same time still look for George to also change his thinking. My only concern now is how this is going to affect Karl. WIll this pull Karl closer to George? Or will this push Karl away from George? We can always hope for the positive changes, but there are far too many who still keep sliding downwards and try to put a happy face on it. Will keep reading to see what George actually is intending and to discover what Karl will be thinking as well.

I too am worried about Randy and being so tired to drive without some incident happening. That incident could very well be Tim's mother. I think either one her and Ann Marie are so much alike. Randy's dad must have kept her on a similar plan with the families funds. Ann Marie did not have dad there to keep her undercontrol after she ran off and married. Randy now driving Tim's mother back so she can attempt to see her daughter. If she remembers what Tim had said about visiting Ann Marie only with his permission. Mom is not going to be very pleasant as we. Tim and Stephen may hear the searing words that Mom will have when she cannot see Ann Marie. Tim will probably be getting a phone call from either day or mom. Tim is doing the right thing, but he also must realize that Ann Marie has been doing this since she left home. I do think there is a possibility of Mom, becoming a patient in the hospital and seeing the doctor. I am fearful that Dad will not be able to handle both women by himself. We must not forget Randy who will be driving and being tired as the same time. The possibiltiy of something happening while driving back is still open here. When Stephen shows Tim the circut board from the lawsuit. Things will change the lawsuit that his grandfather lost. That circut board issue along with Ann Marie as well as mon. Tim and Stephen will have both women sto deal with. It is always very difficult to deal with a family member who is having mental breakdown. But the possibility of two family members having breakdowns together will be a very trying day for Tim, Stephen, Randy, Aunt Clara and Tim's dad. I am thankful you are writing this story and not me! Are you getting enough sleep as well CL? Tough story to write!! Hang in there so we all can hang with you.

Ann Marie has some issues that need to be closely watched by medical professionals. Tim sees that his sister is needing some professional help as well. I thing Tim may be somewhat amazed at how long his sister has been like she is. When people crash from having mental issues or even issues with family, it can be v ery demanding on the rest of the family as well. Still Ann Marie is going to need Tim do some explaining to her, Maybe she will see the light when she is in the lodge and has someone there to watch over her and to keep her on the road to getting a family back in her life. It is still difficult to think of those that have problems dealing with family and life itself. I still do not want her around my family, she still has a negative attitude towards Tim, that may never go away.

Well Ann Marie has her letter the court sent her. She now has the police involve, EMT's from the hospital. As well as a doctor. All for a temper tantrum from Ann Marie. I expected more from her, but then this may not be over yet. Timothy is going to have a talk with her explaining the letter from the court. That may be a good one sided conversation or a full blown fight. Sometimes it is hard when those who think they are blessed have that sudden stop at the bottom when they crash.

Mr. Hopkins seems to not be interested in George's lifestyle as being gay. I think there is still more to Mrl Hopkins that needs to come yet. He is going to be with George during his recovery and the stay in the hospital for another week. Which may benefit George greatly. I do think Karl will be coming by the see George. Do you suppose that Mr. Hopkins and Karl will be able to keep George among the living? A good possibility I do think. We still do not have a grasp on Karl and his feelings. He is trying to deal with all of this around George and the suicide attempts. There is a lot of emotions that still have not reached the surface yet for Mr. Hopkins and for George. Karl may also be of some help to Mr. Hopkins. Karl may end of being the one saving both men. I enjoy reading your story, There are many things at work here and many emotions at play also. Sound as though Ann Marie has already banished Tim to hell. You think she may wish she had not said this? If she has her mind already made up as to what she is going to be doing with her inheritance. She is not going to be a happy camper once the papers are in her hands. How many pieces can she tear the papers into? We may also find that out. I do not feel bad for Ann Marie. She has brought all of this down on herself without anyones help. I really enjoy wonderful fireworks displays. Will Ann Marie's fireworks have aireal bombs also. I am sure ther will be several showering sparks in this blow up. But I am still getting the feeling that there is something more that is also coming soon to the family here. I am thinking Ann Marie may attempt a sudden change of her own after the arrival of the papers from the court to her. Has there been a Hurricaine named Ann Marie by chance? Just kidding!!

Let me think here a minute. Matias is in Juvi detention. But if my memory serves me correctly. When does Matias turn age 18? Or is adult age here 21? Will Matias be released with probation when he reaches th adult age? I am just a little vague on when minors released from Juvi. Iti could be possible that with Kyles journal and his keeping track of what was happening. Kyle may be found to be defending himself. Will need to read the coming chapter to find out for sure. Kyle will still have namy scars to deal with mentally. Killing someone during a frenzied escape from Salvatore. and his henchmen can also have a degree of panic for him later. It may be entirely possible that there is more to what is coming soon. Maybe Witness Protection?

So what is George's mother going to change what way she has been. She sounds as though George being gay is not on her list of favorite thngs. Is she talking about George's close friend who dies at Dunkirk? Something seems to be amiss at the George's home. Why does George not want to stay with my own mother? Need more information here. If Karl is having trouble with figuring out who is what and is this George's step brother? I will be waiting for more from this household.

WOW and WOW. How many of the buildings tennants will want to enjoy the theater that JJ and Henry are planning? When they begin to enjoy their sound system and theater. There will surely be others from within the building who will find out about such a fantastic place to relax and enjoy. I hope the both ot them enjoy living in NY. But as they say, Love is blind. Lets hope JJ and Henry never tire of each other or what they are planning.

I am not surprised at Robert saying he will make sure this never happens again under his roof. That his wife suffers from depression as well. From what I have read about WWI, the death toll and the deaths from the gas that was used was horrific and many suffered agonizing deaths or severe lung damages. Robert I am sure will not forget the scenes that he saw. This maybe why he wants to take care of George, as he does feel responsible. Karl also is at the place where he also needs someone to help him understand all of what has taken place. I do still think that Karl and George may benefit from each others need to understand this stiutation. Karl needs to understand English much more and George needs to understand Danish. What better way of working to make each better than to help each other learn the others language. With the assistance of Robert I think both Karl and george will benefit from each others body language and soon be able to notice each others facial expressions. They may themselves come close to the other more that they have ever thought. Then there is Paul. I am still not sure as to how he is going to react to Georgr and Karl and if bonding for those two will have an affect to Paul. I think there needs to be more information to come that should shed some light on Paul's thinking and how all three of these young men will respond to the coming of minds and bodies possibly. Going to be more interesting chapters on the way we hope.

Ann Marie is not going to be happy that her "little brother" wil be managing her funds and telling her how much she will be able to spend. Not going to be a good day for several individuals. Give Timothy credit of doing this for his sister. The same sister that has shunned the family and Timothy nearly TIm's entire life. He has stepped up when most would have just forgotten about her. Timothy I do think is trying to keep the family on an even keel for the sake of everyone. It is going to be interesting in what Donnie has been telling Timothy or what he will be telling Timothy.

Nathan and Jason, need to get DNA tested. Yes those tests are 100 % accepted in the courts. In fact courts have ordered DNA tests to be done. I have actually been paid to do DNA tests which when finished with each person. I had to seal all samples in special shipping packages and send them to the lab. Each test was simple not invasive and quick. It was the paperwork that took the time. Photos of each person tested were also part of the DNA test. I have the feeling Nathan's father has had more than just Holidays on his travels. Did Jason's father who worked for Nathan's father, go on some of these same Holidays? Would be interesting to find out. And if Nathan's father was serious about contacting the police, then why has he not done so. But just goes off on another Holiday just at the drop of a hat or maybe something more will be dropping during his Holiday. You suppose he will be dropping more of his own DNA during thie supposed Holiday? How such things happen. I feel that when one question is anwered here there are two more that seem to creep into the mix. I think Jason and Nathan are not twins or brothers of the same mother. Just suppose that Jason's mother had Nathan. Nathan's mother had Jason. What if both set of parents were into swapping partners on these Holidays. What suspense will be have if this is the case. I think the ones who will come out of all of this will be Nathan and Jason. It is going to be interesting to read the coming chapters. I think the DNA tests are going to be mind blowing with the results. Something that neither of the boys will be expecting to see. Then what?? GOOD READING COMING SOON!! But could I be totally incorrect? Will have to wait and see.

George is once again taken himself down a path where he should not go. He needs some intervention now more than before. But will Karl be that intervention, Will Karl be the one to teach George Danish? Maybe the two of them can teach each other some skills they both need right now. Karl's O type blood is what saved George's life this time. WIll Karl be able to save George from himself? I am betting on Karl myself. I think Karl possibly may have some feelings for George but does not understand what these feelings really are yet. Going to be interesting if Karl and George become closer and what Paul will think as well. Going to be some interesting reading ahead. Yes the bathroom scene like what Karl experienced can be very visual to those that have not seen much human tragedy. In life it is amazing how a person can cause to much pain and horror around them. There are those individuals who at the sight of any blood, will suddenly find themselves on the ground. Karl may be one of those type people.

Timothy reminds me of someone I used to have as a very good and close friend. He had been shunned by many from his local area, because of who is was close to and his mindset of who he was. He also kept away from those individuals who always made him feel for the lack of a better word, UNCLEAN. I did not agree with how he was treated and of course I voice my opinion to a couple of the "my shit don't stink menality". Seems my words of endearment to them sort of had a revelation for them. Of course my not so quiet comments to them did not go unnoticed as well. But my point was received by several and I did notice a change. My friend had less issues after this. But from my perspective, those of the world who are gay , bi, trans or what ever are just the same inside as anyone eles who thinks differently. Timothy should not take what he sees as being the bad person. Timothy is far from being a bad person. Others would do well to even think they might be better than Timothy is. I am sure he will find this out . Timothy does have a good heart and wanting to keep the family together. I do think he and Stephen will do just that.

Timothy is still hearing that voice. I am sure we all should know that Donnie is still with Timothy. As for Ann Marie she is going to have a nuclear meltdown in the near future I do think, and everyong around is going to hear it. Tim offerd Randy and his mother to live on the farm, I had hopes that is what would happen. Maybe Timothy and his big sis will actually make up with each other. There has to be a repair of the family closeness. I am still wanting to hear this upcoming court case about the inheritance the Ann Marie was entiltled to . That as well will be a good read. Now that Karl has the Hopkins on the way to help him, he needs to get back to George and see what he can do for him. Karl should try talking to George as he attempts to stop the blood loss. Karl once again is back trying to help and do something. He probably has never dealt with blood loss before, or has he?? Can't wait for the next chpater.

Timothy is not a person you would want to have angry at you. Just wha a holier than thou big sister needs from her much ignored little brillant brother. I will enjoy finding out how she will react to the judge when she gets the news. I think big sis my just end up living in a one room effiency home with Timothy controlling her funds. This will be a coming chapter that may rival the July 4, fireworks displays. Gotta see this soon..
