Their spirit and good will has gone viral! I loved the healing of Auntie, I sure wish I had a Rhys to cure my rheumatoid arthritis! I think that Ranevargar's plan to stop them with "A thousand little stings" is a great idea. I'm always concerned that they will be exposed to society, which would be catastrophic. Continuing the visible protest efforts on the surface, while using undetectable and effective methods below the surface is the best way to beat these robber barons.

This chapter shows just how far Colin has come since meeting Owain. It also shows the progress still desired, but not yet achieved. Something to look forward to.

Wow, what a tense chapter! We now have that vital piece of information we have been missing and searching, the secret contingency giving Martina her motive. How does a person make the leap from devoting her life to wild animal conservation to sacrificing the animals and Micco, and (I'm assuming) murdering Sam when the plan fell apart? If her husband was still alive, I can't see her doing all this (or at the very least getting away with it). The writing was perfect -- fast-paced, urgent, concise. We finish with Micco and Chase revisiting their childhood behaviors. Hopefully Chase will yet again come to Micco's rescue once he has Matthew and Calhoun safely in the shelter.

I'm all caught up! I'm thankful that our guys have magic on their side, I can't see how ordinary people could win this battle. Sadly similar goings on are happening all over earth. I can't wait to see Benton's reaction when his dastardly plan fails!

It sounds like Toby's perfect vacation. The guys are showing what good parents they are by catering this vacation around Toby's interests, rather than their preferences. I'm much more a small town/nature lover, than a city lover, so their vacation appeals to me.

I'm wondering if Owain will try to make contact with the one good friend he lost touch with? I liked this calm, "slice of life" chapter, but I have to agree with some of my fellow readers that a disturbance is upcoming.

I’m a little confused, when did Grey get out of his chains? When you told me you wanted to leave to go find her, I just remembered her words. And you wouldn’t budge… so I told your dad about your plans to leave,” he said. “That was you?” I screamed at him, “They chained me up!” We know that Mark and Grey were together 3 years later, until Mark publicly rejected him. We also know that Grey’s dad stopped abusing him around the time of the chaining.

I just finished Widderkin last week, so this feels like a natural progression to me. I especially like Auntie Arika, I think she would be delighted with the realms! I'm looking forward to the battle with the miners/government. I'm concerned that the "special" quartz is related to the Nexus stone.

I was impressed by Ashlee, disgusted and angered by Sarah, and so very impressed by Felicity and her courage. I can intellectually understand Felicity’s life, but I can’t possibly know how she feels. This powerful chapter made me think about my own attitudes and reactions, and I thank you for that.

If you like westerns, this is one of the best. If you couldn't care less about westerns, this is still one of the best romances you will read! The main characters are complex, likable, and brave. All of Gary's stories are very well-written, this is no exception. Bearpaw will make you feel good and become a part of you.

I'm glad that Noah's official coming out to his parents was positive. I wonder what his Grandma's problem is, maybe she's just like Colin's brother Miles, loves the sound of her own voice and wants everyone to hear her opinions. Hopefully Val will put her in her place.

I’m not sure I understand the animosity towards Jamie and Andre. Women frequently have very close friends they share everything with, why can’t men? I don’t get the feeling that Jamie and Andre have had any separation over time, therefore no “mystery” over their relationship. Chris and Michael were completely out of touch until the party, but were obviously close at one time, requiring some storytelling over a nice dinner.

Well they certainly cleared the air! I don’t get the feeling that either couple are in danger of straying. Xavier sounds like he was bad news, hopefully he stays in jail and doesn’t cause problems for the future. Easter in Melbourne with extended family will probably be busy, I hope that Andre gets along well with Chris’ family.

Oh Ashlee. Poor Felicity, I can’t imagine how defeated she must feel. We saw Ashlee’s emotions all over the place from beginning to end, but her gut reaction was something her mother would say. I hope she rethinks her response and apologizes, maybe some research (which she excels with at work) would be in order for her personal life.

Regarding the meds ….. maybe diabetic? I like Felicity’s spirit, when her relationship ended, she didn’t go back home and work for her dad, she did what needed done and moved on. That Sarah has been through trauma does not surprise me. Bravado and brashness can sometimes be a good cover for hurt. I can’t quite figure out Uyen yet. She seems to be a tough cookie with a gooey center.

I loved this beginning, you painted a great picture without even a smidgen of boring exposition. Ashlee is OCD, smart, self-driven, introverted, funny and maybe a little lonely. I look forward to her future.

If I'm interpreting the dream correctly, Dave has a very wolfy future. If his brother can be turned, Dave should be able to. I like mischievous vanilla Edna, I hope she will be around more.

I'm all caught up now and looking forward to reading more. I like the world you have created, which is markedly different than some of the other shifter series that I follow. I like that, it makes your story distinct. I appreciate the initial conversation, but I'm A little frustrated at the lack of continued communication between our 4 supernaturals. Why did Mark go to Grey's father, rather than talk to Grey? Was Grey chained up for six years? If so, what the hell Mark! This is all info currently within Mark's capabilities to disclose, but he didn't. Why didn't Grey press him on this?

Wow, the herald is finally dead! What effect will this have on the assault on earth? What’s going on with the spy mission on the surface? Will the “Master” make himself present? Great chapter, but so many questions!
