Adidas and Puma also have Nazi connections, I didn't know about Hugo Boss.

Owain's life is progressing along at a steady, if somewhat leisurely pace. Which I think is a good thing. He had experienced a lot of change, this gives him some time to get settled before any new big decisions get made. He also has time to get to know Colin, I'm happy there is attraction on both sides.

I fear that Martin and Emma did not survive the explosion and ensuing fire. But did either of the Simisants live? If Rimzi is our ghost "leafy man", did Akeeri survive? Will we get to meet him?

Ares sounds like a fun place to work! I'm not sure whether I should be concerned about this Russ Kahn. I'm hoping for harmless fun, rather than trouble for our boys. If you cause trouble between Gordon and Brian, we will be full of "wrath"!

Chapter 13 If He Ever Does
CincyKris commented on Headstall's story chapter in Chapter 13 If He Ever Does
Thank you for this chapter. It not only gave us important info, but you perfectly relayed the desperation that Jubal is feeling. His whole life is laying in that bed. We also get a better feel for Reid, he is no longer just a spurned ex, he is a good man and a good friend. I think that Reid is finally realizing just how much Jubal cares for his friend.- 54 comments

I have a feeling that Colin's dad was a browbeaten husband who just went along with his wife to make life easier, then escaped to his shed. Unfortunately, this trained mum to accept this as being the norm, and she sees no reason to change. Miles is "the favorite", can do no wrong in mum's eyes. He is most definitely selfish. That being said, Colin knows all this, but still puts up with it. Hopefully his Thursday meeting with Owain will start a chain of events that will put more bone in his backbone. And perhaps some other types of bones will present themselves!

If Akeeri were still around, he would have simply had a conversation with Mildred, just as he had with Martin. I'm guessing that the leafy man is a ghost of Rimzi. I am going to assume the house being burned to the ground with no trace of anything but the foundation was the work of a Simisant. I'm looking forward to the trip to town tomorrow.

I forgot to mention this part: “Guests after hours are expressly forbidden, Frank. You know that.” “Yeah,” he drawls, “but I figured, better do it now, right?” That’s a damn strange thing to say. “Why is that?” “Oh. Ah.” Just what does Frank know???? Is the refuge in danger of closing?

I found myself reading too fast, I couldn't help it, this chapter crackles with electric tension! What was Whisper so desperately trying to get? What were Frank and his rich bimbo doing there? Who or what is lurking in the dark? The hurricane shelter looms oppressive at the end. Not to mention the actual hurricane looming.

The settling in is turning out quite well. Toby is enjoying being a teenager, rather than the little adult Deirdre expected him to be. She seemed to strive for a "no maintenance" son, they do not exist. The meeting between grandparents at the science fair will be interesting.

This was a very satisfying end-story of Randy's journey towards a fulfilling, loving family, albeit unconventional family. I foresee great things ahead for Randy, Skyler, and Trevor.

I can’t think of a better description of the Charlie Boone stories than “joyous”! They are also fun, imaginative, well-written, adventurous, and exciting.

The boys were watching Kostas and Bruno almost as if it were a nature documentary! I could almost hear David Attenborough describing the mating habits of hirsute overall-wearing males.

I tend to agree with @drsawzall, these witches are perhaps not the wisest of their kind. Fleur, who failed to pass along any information about the dead supernaturals to her friends gets herself captured as well as any horror movie scream queen. Hadrian chooses to hang out in literally the only place he can die! I'm also guessing that Fleur's father is not some un-nammed Frenchman, but instead he is a certain human with a grudge against witches. Perhaps Zain and Ouray can redeem these two errant witches.

22th on page 6!!! Do I get a prize for that? I loved all parts of this, the twins better be part of the takedown of the baddies! I look forward to the healing of the pups, and theIr vengeance.

I didn't even check GA last night, I literally snoozed and lost. Great ending, everything zipped up like a BedSack! I'm looking forward to #ReMax, but unlike some other ungrateful Krew members, I'll be patient. For a reasonably short period of time.

Beautiful story! This was a realistic account of 2 men living and learning how to cope with life after service. They will be able to be happy and successful together, and help others like them survive.

I'm the only non believer in my Presbyterian family. There are no conflicts between us, probably because their church is on the relaxed side of organized religion, as much a social organization as a religious institution. I am a devout "live and let live" follower. I think going to a huge university at 18 (Ohio State) and being exposed to hundreds of nationalities and cultures is what started me on the path to realization. They certainly can't be all right, science pushed me the rest of the way. An entry level geology class was an eye opener. If all the religions are wrong about creation, why would any of their subsequent beliefs have substance? I have no problem with anyone I know believing whatever they want, but it hurts to see people using religion to harm others.

A lot of information was learned in this chapter! Darcey did Fleur an injustice (as she did her mother before her) by not training her to be a better witch. Darcey was deeply affected by her daughter's death, but that doesn't excuse her for being a lousy parent. That being said, Fleur threw one hell of a temper tantrum, worthy of any 15 year old! Darcey and Zain's mom certainly like to keep info from their children. And finally, just like @drsawzall I wonder who "she" is.

While that is a possibility, he could have just made an assumption that a traveling cowboy isn't the type to put money in the bank. Or he could have been watching them the entire time.

Part Two. Chapter Eleven.
CincyKris commented on Mrsgnomie's story chapter in Part Two. Chapter Eleven.
I think that is the lock that Max destroyed when he was showing off in front of Reid.
