Being sick on vacation sucks! A sick kid delaying getting sucked also sucks! I loved the interplay between Perry and Charlie, he's been practicing being a dad for a very long time. My favorite moment was Gracie on the putting green. She is self entertaining and always will be, I see no self-esteem issues in her future.

I think it was more the multiple questions regarding her hymen by all those men. Including the judge. While impotence has certainly been discussed many times, and erection (or lack thereof), it seems there has been more detailed questions regarding Ella's anatomy.
-
Wow, that took invasive questioning to a new level.

I wonder if MasterBlaster knows where this this keep is located also? I'm guessing the wisps don't have the magic required to steal back the star. Hopefully the wisps will be able to find Val, Beckett is a little rudderless without him.

Maybe on the lam from murdering Kevin from Endings?

I'm about 2/3 of the way through a reread of Cards. I googled that stone yesterday! I like to catch up with the boys every once in a while. It's such a wonderful story! But, I do think your writing, which was good then, is great now!

Part Two. Chapter Three.
CincyKris commented on Mrsgnomie's story chapter in Part Two. Chapter Three.
Before I even read this string, I had just posted a shameless plug of this story in the comments of Bearpaw by @Headstall! I expect to be compensated for my Korner Krew duties with a double posting!- 118 comments

Reid reminds me of Max from Dichotomy of Love by @Mrsgnomie. Sorry, if you're not reading this wonderful story which is also currently posting on Mondays, you won't understand this comment. A good guy, just not the good guy we want to see coupled with Jubal. This message is brought to you by the Korner Krew.

Part Two. Chapter Three.

I can see Gracie "helping" Kyan do office work!!!!! Although she would look adorable in a tiny little pant suit and sensible pumps!- 118 comments

Great chapter, even though the sheriff seemed to be a good guy and we know our heroes did nothing wrong, you managed to relay the stress and tension that Jubal was feeling. I'm betting we'll see Reid again, but I'm hoping his days of being Lucas' "fishing" buddy with benefits is over.

Part Two. Chapter Three.
CincyKris commented on Mrsgnomie's story chapter in Part Two. Chapter Three.
You are making it very hard to like the self-centered, self-absorbed, and just plain selfish dead wife! Also, the biggest obstacle to a happy coupling seems to be the guys' individual hangups over what everyone else thinks. Kyan is soooo worried that he or the kids are a burden to anyone. The money thing is not helping this feeling. Perry is worried that everyone will judge him for stealing his dead sister's husband. Do we need an intervention?- 118 comments

Maybe there was more than just the former owner of the arm?

It would seem that a lot of Caspian's headaches would go away if Gideon and Kavan were to die along with the Conte. Am I being too suspicious? Too pessimistic? Barking up the wrong tree? Maybe. I can't see what he would gain by exposure. I have a feeling that Konstantin will show up in Italy. Regarding Gideon's suggestion that Katherine is responsible for some poor advice to her bloodsong, I believe she has an agenda that she is hiding from Konstantin. But that could be because I never really liked her. On the plus side, Kavan realizes he was acting like a brat and is putting in some effort to control it. Hallelujah!

I'm reading this for the third time I think? It's one of the first I read, even before I was a member, and still one of my favorites. I love it, like an old friend.

Right now I'm with @FanLiton the whole Dayna issue. She was a spoiled, popular teenager used to getting all the attention. I don't get the feeling she was a mean girl, or in any way a user, she was just the center of attention for her whole life. When a girl like that chooses a shy, lonely guy like Kyan, he doesn't stand a chance. I have a feeling that if Dayna had been a boy, there would have been no difference in his feelings. But then we would be missing the 4 most important people in Kyan's life.

I have a strong feeling he will change his mind and show his hand (and probably other body parts) before too terribly long!

Part One. Chapter Twelve.
CincyKris commented on Mrsgnomie's story chapter in Part One. Chapter Twelve.
I can’t I’m the first to mention the subtle Covid reference! To paraphrase Max “there’s some kind of flu going around. Kids are dropping like flies. This is set in the Pacific Northwest, in November…….. Not long before the shit hits the fan! How will the pandemic affect our crew????- 108 comments

I have no doubt we will see “master blaster” again! Now I’m really wondering how many people know about the missing tail. Who else is looking for it?

I hadn't until my family brought their new .45 over a few Thankgivings ago. Lets just say that no squirrels are in danger from my aim, or any of my family from a distance. We aimed at the moldy jack-o-lantern placed at the back of my pond from in front of my pond (maybe 100 feet). His lopsided grin remained smug and confident until my nephew put him out of his misery at close range.

My fondest childhood memories were spent at a southeastern Kentucky lake/river. Buckhorn Lake was created by flooding valleys during the depression to bring electricity to rural mountain communities. As a kid amongst a gaggle of cousins, our "river" was paradise. Camping in the seventies in the Appalachian hollers was not much more modern than your story!

I'm hoping they don't have to wait for the river/lake! Wouldn't want to get in the middle of that debate.

Thank all the gods it's a different Lucas! Now I have some rereading to do to figure out where we have encountered this Lucas. Also, in case you ever get the inspiration, I would much appreciate an update on Virgil and Wyatt. No pressure though, I'll take whatever you decide to produce!

I'm really hoping this isn't the same Lucas from Boundaries. He doesn't seem anything like the bully and coward that brutalized Wyatt. I know that Wyatt and Virgil were headed to Larkspur. I'm loving the interplay between the guys and looking forward to their journey.
