I am left with lots of new questions. What if Sam's murder is related to his mom and sister? At first I thought that Chase was the one looking around with the light, but now I expect it's either related to Sam's murder or one of his party "friends" looking for drugs. Is Micco collateral damage or was he followed and targeted? How many people did Sam give his door code?

I had a vision of Cyn in Sin City and laughed. His culture shock to rural Wisconsin was severe, I can only imagine what my favorite little deer would think of Vegas!

This is where the story got very interesting to me: The edge was only tempered by the glint of the pendant. It was small and perfect. “If you think this would help, I’d be happy to work through them after my lunch break,” Al responded in a measured tone. He looked over at his bookcase, admiring his treasures. There was a nice gap on the second row. I knew then we were in for a wonderful twisty ending! Great job!

I'm thinking that Toby will thrive while living with the guys, and visiting his new grandparents. Deirdre and Jasper won't last forever, people that self-centered and negative rarely do. Deirdre will cause problems after that. Will it be because she actually misses her son? Feels guilt over giving him up? Is just lonely? Is out of money and wants support? I can't wait to find out!

Life happened today and I couldn't read this until now. I'm on page six!!!! How humiliating! Everything has been said already. My takeaways are that @drsawzall has been nudged over to the light side and that I never want to piss off @drpaladin. Also, the thought of @Cane23 using a translator to decipher hillbilly made me laugh out loud!

Hmmm, so Lucas was hoping Coy or Boone would be available, but saw them together. He must have been disappointed at the time, but fate had a different partner in mind for Lucas! They are building their life together while they're building fences and structures.- 108 comments

I read the "engagement" part a little differently. I think most of that was a misunderstanding lead by Toby, initiated by a comment from Denise. I didn't feel that Gordon's parents were pressuring them to get married. Although Drew was pushing for a party, but I think that's more because Drew loves a party!

My thoughts echo those above. I think all involved (except Deirdre and Jasper) will settle into a comfortable extended family. Our three mains are having the most adjustments, but Toby seems astounded that he can decorate his own bedroom and follow his interests. This demonstrates what terrible parents his mom and Jasper have been.

I highly recommend When Opportunity Knocks ! Storyverse is great too, but you need to read all of @astone2292 @Mrsgnomieand @kboisto truly get all the humor. I envy you for all the great new stories ahead of you!

I still have one aconitum plant on my perennial table at the garden center. It's common name is monkshood or wolfsbane. In very small doses it can cause all sorts of problems (it can also supposedly help all sorts of ailments), but is very deadly if you consume too much. But I haven't been out west in two decades, I swear.

Its looking it will take being stuck with each other during the hurricane to bring Chase and Micco together again!

My first thoughts when reading the flashback were the same as @84Mags I think that Chase was devastated by Micco saying he couldn't ever love him more than as a brother. No real guesses on who the killer is yet, but I don't think it was Danny. I doubt he's that good of an actor. But just what did he see that makes him so sure that Micco is the killer?

Jubal is battling some powerful demons, memories and fear! If he were to ride away, he would add regret to those demons. I wonder if Lucas is looking at Jubal like Jubal is looking at the wildings? Some serious calming has been happening, and needs to continue if Jubal will be at ease enough to fully trust in Lucas.

I think that Brian and Gordon living together will work as long as they continue to communicate openly. Their respite at the beach resort was an opportunity to explore, but both acknowledged that they didn't intend to live that way when they get back to England. I have a feeling we will see Amad again in the future.

Calhoun is a complete and utter asshole! The real question is will Chase choose his boss over his childhood friend? Evil vs. Good? Did Micco kill Sam, I don't think so. Would I support him if he did, hell yes!

One question I haven't seen addressed, have you consulted with @astone2292with regards to shadow shifters? Are they the opposite of light shifters? Can Asa move through sunlight? Is healing apart of his affinity?
