That's the thing @akascrubber....Remember the scene at the warehouse....Enrico was not perturbed that the plan would fail because of this Whatever insidious plot he is weaving, it has been in the making for a long time. Not to mention he has left lots red herrings (Finch,Milos) along the way that the Intelligent agencies are running around like headless chicken...Only Gregory Templeton and Andre Carter seem to realise that there is a shady chess game being played and that they were a bit late to said game

This chapter was just a full dosage of sweetness(the thanksgiving bits),letting go(Jack being himself,all smiles and jokes) and personal growth (Nick starting to have consideration for Jack's sentiments towards him).. I love love it.....now can't wait for the camping 😂 Thank you!

Whatever Enrico is planning must be something so insidious that it's effects will reverberate for a long time. I don't even know what to say about Ezra...his loneliness and need to feel loved and seen is a weakness that has placed his life in a situation where he might not survive unscathed...be it emotionally or physically . Then there are those service men on the sun, who have no idea of the danger that is coming their way...this chapter really highlighted the fact that in a war,it's always the innocent ones who pay the highest price. Thank you for this update!

Reading this chapter, I could not help but feel sorry for Ezra Reed .You are right that the mother is to blame here .For never really getting to know her son. And now can't help but hope that Ezra doesn't get hurt and that maybe this could help Eleanor realise that her son should always have been important to her . Just as I was getting to like Enrico more, this chapter happens and then am reminded of how detached and ruthless he is when it comes to his mission. Everyone else is collateral.
