Well..this story seems to elicit a diverse range of responses and reactions in all of us.Not just this chapter ..Personally for me ,there is always something that each chapter elicits in me...nostalgia,sadness and hope.😂

Yes I agree...somethings warrant personal experience to understand them. Uganda is beautiful...though it differs from region to region .Each region has its own weather patterns and customs though the climate is pretty uniform and constant throughout the country.One constant about our climate is that we have two seasons each of wet(rains) and heat distributed in a year. Basically we have perpetual summer here😂...Even when it rains heavily, you are guaranteed sunlight...Benefits of being on the equator I guess.

Whoa..your dearth of knowledge concerning the Swedish countryside is marvelous. When you described those things...I was busy picturing them in my head and then remembered something. Reading transports you to worlds..It's like I was in the swedish countryside yet am here lounging on my balcony in Uganda😂😂😂... One is an abyss, the embodiment of chaos and intrigue, while the other one is just pure innocence. @Philippe...you have no idea how much have wanted Sinclair to be brought down a peg ...well a lot more pegs😂😂. I like to think Reza was unprepared for the magnitude of his task...Go back to the scene ,right before the COB confronted him...he suddenly realized he was not prepared for his task, he was desperate. That is not a mind set of someone who has done that for long...I think he was just a young man who just realized too late that what he had been ordered to do was not as easy as he had originally thought .

I once heard a wise man say that the best way out of a conundrum is to gauge the pros and cons of doing something or not doing something .Like what is the worst and best thing that could result if you did or didn't do that thing. That being said...I will share my opinion of Ezra Reed .I had time to think about him yesterday when was re-reading the first chapters. I do not think Ezra is dumb .I think he is quite astute basing on his inner monologue you gave us in the previous chapter. He is/was just a lonely young man who yearned to be seen and heard by his mother and others.Enrico honed in onto that...Sure he genuinely cares about him now. That care however was born out of emotional manipulation which reminded him of his younger innocent self. In my opinion,Enrico is trying to resurrect that young and pure self that can never be .He is a man whose resentment ,hatred and need for vengeance for his long gone father burns so brightly that I reckon no amount of respite(Ezra Reed) can douse. That brings me to Ezra.He is an 18 year old lad who is smart but lonely. At the moment he lacks agency and I feel he could be more than a love whipped young man making bad decisions because he finally had someone really see and hear him. I feel this consuming love that he has with Enrico needs to be a lesson to him about how the world is not fair and safe for good and idealistic people like him. He needs to learn that the choices one makes have consequences, not just for the person but other people in ones' circle .He needs to learn that sometimes love is not enough. I like that he has gotten the chance to experience what love is. That being said, he is out of his depth. He has become unwittingly entangled with someone who lives in a world where trust and love are weaknesses that can be used as tools of control. So I feel like Ezra surviving this experience is the best resolution .Sure he will never be the same again..but he will have grown as a person.One needs to lose to become better. I feel like Ezra Reed is a character that has potential to be more than collateral. I trust that you will find a way....You always do..We your humble readers will just have to be patient and see what magic you can conjure in this regard😂😂

Somehow I feel bad for that young man(Reza/PO Miller), yet another victim of the shady chess being played. At the end , he was just another young man way out of his depth following orders that he did not understand...Reading this chapter makes me want the puppet masters to meet a slow painful end Thank you!
