I know that you mentioned in the last chapter comments that all the people in that house need therapy. I agree Lucian is so messed up ..he is such a broken young man. Daniel is caught in the middle of this mess, second guessing where he stands with his father. Peter was messed up for life . I know it's a story and that nobody is without redeeming qualities...but Bruno Greene is just a monster.There is no way about it.. Last chapter Daniel tried to pass it off as their father being lonely ..but that is grasping at straws. There has to be something that made his wife turn to other men. Those things never happen out of the blue..Then there is the cruelty and child abuse he subjected to the two elder children. There is no excuse for him..he is a man who gets off on dominating and controlling others because he has the power to do so. I know characters usually have redemptive arcs and all but there is no excuse for what he did to Lucian and Peter.. I feel like giving him a redemptive arc is sort of white washing all the horrors he inflicted on those young boys,now men!..He might not have physically abused Daniel..but he still messed him up. I find myself hoping that I don't get to end of the story and find Bruno Greene playing happy family after all he has done..I feel like that would be condonation. Books/stories,personally to me, are meant to be sources of education..Bruno Greene having a happy ending in this story would be like saying folks can do cruel and bad things as longer as they can ask for forgiveness... The way Mason treated Eli on Friday is not a way someone treats one with whom they are in a BDSM relationship..Not that I know how they act😂.I feel like Mason does not even understand his own feelings where it concerns Eli.Not to mention he has no idea what is going on between Eli and Casper. Casper on the other hand is so into the whole Domination thing ..all is he doing at the moment is conditioning Eli into what he wants him to be and poor Eli is feeling adrift because he has no idea what his role is in all of it. I like Enrico....the anti-hero vibe you have given him is so impressive..It has the Anakin/Darth Vader vibe going on there...Like really of all the characters in this story,Enrico seems to be the most beautifully complex . Like you took your time to concieve him and it shows..vividly. I like the way you have structured this chapter...and find myself wishing you would do it more..I mean showing us what is happening at the same time on different places...It is like watching a movie..at least for me it is Thank you!
