Chapter 4: What changes will time bring?
Seraph28 commented on vanalas's story chapter in Chapter 4: What changes will time bring?
@vanalas...but why?...why build up our hope so...only to shatter it into smithereens π...Honestly for once I was like finally a story from you where our main characters are in a conventional relationship...doing conventional relationship stuff like bickering over finances, fighting then having earth shattering make-up sex..You know normal conventional things...but now with this new character you introduced at the end..you are going to create upheaval for this beautiful family who have just finally found the way back to each other!..I had to go back and read the synopsis for the story and it left me scared for Noah....But why?.... This is something unusual and this is your story ..you are the boss but please for once ...give us a story that does not glorify toxic relationships.. and whatever happens don't break up this family...Is that possible?...which deity can I pray to so that my humble plea is answered?ππ It sucks being an ardent reader of your works sometimes you know...I once said you must get off on despair π π....Am.quite sure you are going to prove us right with this tale . Thank you as always ..Blessed week ahead! P.s .Am off to booking appointments with my therapist because I know you are about to spike my blood pressure in the coming weeksππππ -
I think what makes Jamie/Luca's world different ..and by extension Simon's whom we are yet to 'meet' is that the main characters have come into primary contact with direct abuse. They collided with the abuse head on either emotionally, physically or both. Writing such stories,I like to believe, makes one to go into dark spaces so to speak. That can somewhat affect you as writer,at least that is what I believe.

Pinemoor, Here We Come?
Seraph28 commented on Laura S. Fox's story chapter in Pinemoor, Here We Come?
Oh God!...the dynamic between Jack and Theodore ...is just so nice to witness....it reminds me of banter between Jeff Huntsman and April Summers from Be the Father of this child . The way they pushed each other's button..it's fun and nice I hope you don't mind me asking...but if you had to base these characters on the Hollywood actors...who would Ryder,Danny,Jack,Vince and Theodore be based on?..It's something that has been running g in my head but cannot seem to make it work right..π€- 58 comments

Thank you ..am glad you re-traced your steps in Luca and Jamie's world...Especially since you have so much going on..you have like 3 ongoing works on your hands ..that must tax your creative imagination to no end... Thank you!

Eh..you are right...about so many stories .In fact in so many stories you can tell who the main paring are within the first chapter. This story on the other hand is a multiple character arc story like Wheel of Time.. so for folks like us who have read that, we can get it....what makes your story different is that it's GA forum story but the focus,at least for the first book, was on straight horny angst riddled youths and the only certified gay character was on the periphery... Oh God!..Zal and Ragart are just so different ...and yes opposites attract but eh...not this timeππ

Chapter 10: Only When He Said I Could
Seraph28 commented on BrokenBoundariesGayErotica's story chapter in Chapter 10: Only When He Said I Could
I like to believe that it's the greatest gratification a writer can get. That your work can evoke a debate among the readers. Take this story for example....all of us have all sorts of theories going and I imagine it makes you laugh when you reading about them in the comments section. Personally for me BDSM is not my cup of tea ,so I avoid anything related to it. However when I read the synopsis of this story when it started here, something about it was catchy so was like let me give this a try.It has also helped that the engagement in the comments section would give me different perspectives . Thank you! -
You know most folks are just inching for romanceπ...Folks are used to reading steamy scenes involving the main characters even in fantasy series such as this one...You are on your way to getting the 'Slowest slow-burn ever' award!ππ...We are in Series 3 and we have no idea who the main romantic pairing isπππ That being said....am not going anywhere...am here till the end...am after all a Virgo..and we are suckers for romanceπ

In this story that adage is subverted ...each of the villains seems to be having their own agenda..so doesn't seem to apply here

Now you are being a 'meanie' with that glue assumption about our favourite resident jockππ -
I don't know what your mind space was like when you were writing this chapter..it's just so intense ...I could imagine the fear that Will had when the doctor said Sepsis and Critical...those words are a harbinger of doom when they are spoken in regards to someone who is the hospital ... Can you imagine , I subconciously skipped the thrill of the Bank infiltration...and was as restless as Will and Jared .π Thank you!

I felt the same way too about Brad's nonchalance when it came to the gift that Lyn gave him..He acted like it was no big deal and was glad that at that point Lyn came to the realisation that friendship was better than something more with Brad. Now am anxiously waiting for the infamous event that made them go incommunicado until the wedding invite came in

His thoughtless in that 'You invited yourself ' was so hard to read ..and what is worse is that he did not even notice what it did to Lyn

Indeed...but you noticed Alexander even in the past was not abrasive, sure he is straight forward ..but he is not like his grandfather.

Careful there on the sex part...you are stoking @Cane23's sexual fantasies ππ... There are two things to always expect...@Cane23's thorough chapter analyses....and the drawn out sex scenes in your storiesππ
-
Well...thank you for giving me the impetus to really get into the pysche of the characters..π..You must have had fun conceiving Alexander...π
-
At least the puzzle of the bracelet that Alexander has on eight years later has been solved ...Alexander ,even back then, valued Lyn...getting that bracelet from Lyn was like winning the world for him... I like how he is always calling out Lyn for being slow on the uptake...even back then..haha

You have no idea how much I wished could enter the page and whoop Nick's ass...just so he could get some sense into his romance addled brain π
-
He is young and eager to please.. his innocence is still intact as regards relationships is still intact
-
Well, your faithful reader here will just keep waiting for the chapter updatesπ...I want you to know that am filled with awe that you can conceive something so dark, twisted and yet it's something that unfortunately happens in real life in some places. Am looking forward to what you will indulge us with in the future after this tale comes to its end

It was wonderful.... it's good to break the 'tragic gay trope'..You know the one where gay relationships never end well..remember the type of LGBTQ themed movies of yesteryear .the ones which always ended up leaving you depressed instead of happy ππ
