Thank you for the update!..It is indeed sad so far...Bruno is a monster.I find myself feeling so bad for what Peter,Lucian and Daniel had to go through...Usually stories like these are cliché. Where the victim always ends up falling for the abuser and they get a happily ever after!. I know it's just a story but I am hoping that cycle is broken with this one...in my mind, there is no way that monster Bruno gets to have happy ending!..Am looking forward to your next update!...Thank you!

Definitely hell would freeze first before Alarik meets Henry again...he did after all get up fast to leave...that's a social faux pas ..It was until I read your comment that I had a realization...the way @Thomas Lindblad has written this story is like a journal..and we are the readers of Alarik's journal. Go back to the previous chapter...this is the second ex he is meeting...The meeting with Simon was also not a good one ..Simon turned out to be a self absorbed show off.He wanted to show Alarik that he was doing better by taking up the bill after their meeting.Not to mention how he was dismissive of Alarik's feelings for him in the past... Henry is a radical right wing xenophobe...I am inclined to hazard a guess that the next chapter we might me another ex of Alarik.

This chapter...was an angst filled ride..and boy was it epic!..

Okay...now I believe am lost..😂..Usually with stories you get the idea where the story is going...after a few chapters in. I guess must confess that secretly was Team Alarik-Alex, even though Alarik is not inclined that way(lad can hope😉)...but then this chapter goes and veers too much of course in my head that am left floundering. Can't make any more guesses where we are going . Am just glad your update schedule is consistent...Thank you and can't wait for the next offering next week!

This has been a really great journey, this story has been my second best for me(Praveen's will always be my most favourite story you ever written). I have loved how you have shown Gael's brevity and resilience during his most darkest moments. I have loved Alex...boy was that boy such a sweet hopeless romantic... And my namesake(Sam)..he was just such a compelling supporting character. He felt like he was part of the story itself and not just an add-on. The personal growth of Carlos was well done too ...However the best work goes to Ian Sandoval . The comeuppance you gave him...now that is poetic!..I like that he did not get to die ..that he was a prisoner in his own body..nothing is more damning than seeing a once powerful person be reduced to such a low!. I thank you for this story!...You have given me something to look for every week in the past months..hihi ..Hopefully the Literary Diety imbues you with more imagination and you delight us with another wonderful story. Thought am the only one who is not a fan of this Dylan-Troy pairing..It's a story but God ..that is a toxic arrangement . I have read this story from the beginning and cannot help but feel pretty miffed . Some of the stories on here can give one a complex!.. It's like Troy has no agency and he is just there to be Dylan's hormonal outlet!

@Cane23...I live for your deeper analyses of characters....I totally am in sync with you when it comes to Alexander in this chapter. That's why am inclined to believe that Alexander and Brad were only friends(If it can be called so) because of Lyn. Grating is such a negative word to define an action which goes to show Alexander tolerated much but stuck around because of Lyn..At least it looks like that to me. As for Brad. ..that boyo is just so entirely masked that it would need divine intervention to even see the real him at this point in the story! Bella..how can such a beautiful name belong to someone so....imperious. I know Lyn is not a reliable narrator but the way she 'dismissed' him..was just so petty and juvenile!..I cannot wait for Luke to be introduced fully..I have a feeling he takes too much of the spotlight away from her hence her attitude towards him.After all people of her ilk don't like being outshone by others. Personally I do not think he blew his chance...Alarik was just intrigued by Wolf and as the previous chapters have shown..he has been comfortable observing from the periphery without getting close. It has been like a research problem for him..

I like it when stories are slow burn...Like this one..Alarik is us(folks who are above 30)..jaded but not yet cynical😂..You have woven such a nice tale and am all for it.... Justin is a bundle of high energy and a go-getter...I almost wish was as daring as him at that age..haha
