No...you didn't just leave us with such an epic cliff hanger!😀😉... This has been a really great journey, this story has been my second best for me(Praveen's will always be my most favourite story you ever written). I have loved how you have shown Gael's brevity and resilience during his most darkest moments. I have loved Alex...boy was that boy such a sweet hopeless romantic... And my namesake(Sam)..he was just such a compelling supporting character. He felt like he was part of the story itself and not just an add-on. The personal growth of Carlos was well done too ...However the best work goes to Ian Sandoval . The comeuppance you gave him...now that is poetic!..I like that he did not get to die ..that he was a prisoner in his own body..nothing is more damning than seeing a once powerful person be reduced to such a low!. I thank you for this story!...You have given me something to look for every week in the past months..hihi ..Hopefully the Literary Diety imbues you with more imagination and you delight us with another wonderful story. Bless you!

Which is good and also daunting on the other hand since now you really need to read line by line...chapter by chapter to understand the story😀 Btw...meant to ask ..can one read chapters ahead on Patreon!?

Thought am the only one who is not a fan of this Dylan-Troy pairing..It's a story but God ..that is a toxic arrangement . I have read this story from the beginning and cannot help but feel pretty miffed . Some of the stories on here can give one a complex!.. It's like Troy has no agency and he is just there to be Dylan's hormonal outlet!

@Cane23...I live for your deeper analyses of characters....I totally am in sync with you when it comes to Alexander in this chapter. That's why am inclined to believe that Alexander and Brad were only friends(If it can be called so) because of Lyn. Grating is such a negative word to define an action which goes to show Alexander tolerated much but stuck around because of Lyn..At least it looks like that to me. As for Brad. ..that boyo is just so entirely masked that it would need divine intervention to even see the real him at this point in the story! Bella..how can such a beautiful name belong to someone so....imperious. I know Lyn is not a reliable narrator but the way she 'dismissed' him..was just so petty and juvenile!..I cannot wait for Luke to be introduced fully..I have a feeling he takes too much of the spotlight away from her hence her attitude towards him.After all people of her ilk don't like being outshone by others. Thanks!

Personally I do not think he blew his chance...Alarik was just intrigued by Wolf and as the previous chapters have shown..he has been comfortable observing from the periphery without getting close. It has been like a research problem for him..

I like it when stories are slow burn...Like this one..Alarik is us(folks who are above 30)..jaded but not yet cynical😂..You have woven such a nice tale and am all for it.... Justin is a bundle of high energy and a go-getter...I almost wish was as daring as him at that age..haha

What story of yours would it be without our protagonist having some hidden X-factor..hehe....I just like today's chapter update!..I like it so much that do not even more to say today..haha Thank you!

Personally what I got from this chapter was not far from your observations....I think it was @Cane23 who hinted at some sort of hidden rivalry between Alexander and Brad. This chapter somewhat drives his point home...Am starting to think they really did not like each other but were stuck with each other more like...Good thing @Laura S. Fox is working on this story so we will eventually get a resolution. Though I must admit am becoming restless that have considered to become active on Patreon 🤭

The structure actually makes it better...like it adds depth to the characters...personally when am reading...I always read the previous and current chapter .that way can pick up those hints you told us...

Well ..guess you decided you are done with subtlety after all.😂... This chapter is just so epic ...you managed to lay it all bare without being loud about it..At least for me. The interaction between the 3 friends at the end of this chapter was so revealing . I almost feel sorry for Lyn that he was/is unable to notice the palpable tension between Brad and Alexander!. You have really gone and done it @Laura S. Fox. This chapter was such a treasure trove of pleasantries and folks putting on well constructed facades!.. Thank you!

Personally am invested....doesn't matter whether it's random or constant😉..I always look forward to the 'Jeff Burton has added a chapter' notifications in my email... I know have said this before and it's almost becoming a chorus....but this story is just something else...Usually stories here are about the human condition(relationships, flawed,broken characters and family dynamics)..Your story is a combination of spices so to speak..Its world building so far is phenomenal and am inclined to believe it is going to become better and more complex!. A compelling and adorable young protagonist in Josh. Don't even get me started on the supporting characters(Rodney,Natalie, the Kincaids)😉.The cloak and dagger aspect..the sci-fi elements. All mashing together to form one marvelous literary soup. What I like most however is the structure of the story ..Giving us different POVs(Josh and the other characters). It grounds us.Makes us feel as though we are privy to what is happening in this world.Like we are on the periphery and yet still part of the action. Thank you!
