That ending just made me warmer ...and it's pretty cold here ... Now Julian can get started on beating the Hayes through overwhelming success... I cannot wait...I can already imagine the just desserts coming to those folks . That being said ...that confrontation between Arthur Hayes and Julian had the same Veronica-River Vibes from Groom For Hire ..The verbal sparring was something to behold

I clocked it from the beginning...I suspected not everything is as it seemed ...Like it did not make sense for Seraphine to turn dark after all the help she had rendered to mankind ...I felt it was too neat and easy...Then there is Xander himself...Too neat and easy too.... This chapter reminded me of the opening monologue of Lord of the Rings...When the Galadriel says Nine,nine rings were gifted to the race of men,who above all else desire power. Could not help but draw a parallel to King Ambrose. That being said...I have never seen red herrings been deployed so well like you managed with Xander and Seraphine. Let the fun begin!!

Today's chapter I dub .'Lynton Calloway gets an epiphany'..This chapter is teeming with moments of self-realisation on Lyn's part ..Alexander holds a mirror to Lyn which somewhat makes him acknowledge his fear of commitment...In the same measure Lyn realises that he did indeed place Brad on a pedestal. My personal favourite ,the crowning moments are Lyn realising that he does indeed have profound feelings for Alexander though in typical Lyn fashion doesn't want to give them a name yet...and also realizing that this is the right moment for them to explore whatever is going on between them... I get a feeling that from now , the present day chapters are going to be intense....and am all for it. Happy and blessed festive season to everyone reading this!

What Aunt Daisy said to Jacy is what I had the misfortune of listening to sometimes back...A few years ago I had gone to a relative and it happened during the time when the Anti-Homo sexuality bill was being discussed .. I remember the host saying something similar to what Aunt Daisy was using as justification for her actions...The godly upbringing bullshit and all that...I am not out but made a conscious decision to never find myself in the same orbit as that relative.. That Reverend/Pastor would fit in rightly here in my country... almost every Protestant church especially the Evangelical ones preach that venom every Sunday....It's the reason why I stopped going to the church I used to go to...It was so soul sapping to go to church expecting to receive the word of God but find yourself being bombarded with bigoted rhetoric .. That being said ..this chapter was so good...That confrontation was a long time coming..I feel sorry for her kids....I find myself wishing that Michael and Jay are not separated the way Kane and Seth were in the Killian Kendall saga.. I am re-assessing my earlier opinion of Jacy ...He is a twat!😂 Thank you and Merry Christmas to you!

This chapter ,to me,shows how power is perverting ..Financial power can permeate the social fabric in such a terrible way ...That interaction between Lyn and the Man was just so dark to read for me....Money has never 'felt' so dirty and 'suffocating' the way it is in that chapter ..Am not even going to start on the power projection on display .I figure @Cane23 has done enough on that. That being said ..am glad that Lyn gets some bit of respite in the way of having his Late Mother's,house off his hands...In a way it feels like an unburdening ..He gets to let go of the house that was a symbol of the complicated life he lived with his mother!

This chapter gave me the feels .eh...That interaction between Will and the man child was the epitome of restraint(on Will's part)...To me it was a hidden war between intelligence,calm ,Resolve and diplomacy against bluster,incompetence ,short sightedness...I might get in trouble for this but this chapter encapsulates what is fundamentally wrong about a certain world president and his administration .. I always like it when the real world intersects with fiction.... Good to see Andrew Carter back....now lets go get those bastards..lol ..of all provinces I 'expected' to secede New Foundland was not among them...I expected those Pesky Albertians😂😂 Thank you!
