I tried to watch it too..gave up because of the difficult subject matter...Personally I can read such dark stuff but for some reason I can't watch it...I really have tried ...but failed.

Never read a piece depicting a rich version of family dysfunction....Every interaction here is well practised choreography ..Reminded me of that TV series Revenge...well the first season before it became shite 😂 That being said....I could not help but feel sorry for Daniel ..The struggle to conform to an expected standard must be taxing and suffocating...No wonder he makes for easy picking by fellas who are perceptive like Malik and now Max.. Thank you @CasualWanderer82....Things are going to get more beautifully chaotic..😂

The title for this chapter ..in my head of course, is Pedestals... Lyn is confronted by the reality that placing a person on a pedestal can be a shock to the system when said person comes tumbling down from that pedestal.....He has always in his mind seen Brad as this infallible person ,almost noble but he is left floundering after his confrontation with Brad .He realizes that the person he has always held in such high regard is not all that perfect...that he is flawed ,maybe even more flawed than he initially thought . I mentioned masks falling off earlier ..and in this chapter we are exposed to yet another facet of Brad....In my head I dubbed him Dark Brad...He is on fully display with the gaslighting, the emotional coercion(I will never forgive you if you tell her bit).. My biggest shock however was knowing he knew all a long how Lyn felt about him and he uses it try to rile up Lyn... I know we have been told to give him some bit of leeway as readers but that was shady as hell.. That being said ,reading this chapter reminded me of something I read from somewhere ....human beings have this inherent ability to greatly disappoint especially if you have high expectations...I guess Lyn gets his lesson too.. Looking forward to more...things are about to get messier..

Why do I get a feeling the subsequent chapters are going to be heart wrenching ..?..This was a beautiful solemn chapter...I mentioned before that witnessing this clan grow has been quite an experience...8 years..that's a long time... Ritchie is a precocious little lad ...I was not thinking like that at his age . Thank you!

Please pardon me but have the urge to drop an F bomb......That party was a bomb....Having an angst riddled Colt with a case of blue balls being cock blocked by Javin is not how I expected to start my Saturday morning...That was crazy piece of writing... That last scene of the chapter was earned ...after that mini fight the lads had. All in all, my most favourite part was the confrontation between Jaxton and Joel ..it was a measure of growth for me that Joel resolved that issue the way he did...He has somewhat learnt temper his impulses...Added to the fact that he accepts that he is a mess to Davin shows how much progress he is making... Thank you for a great start to the weekend!.

Those boys are all smart ...Weston has his moments too...he understands tech and machinery....Jacob is Uber perceptive..Tommy is intelligent and empathetic ....
