Bloody hell!...this chapter was a study in Psychology...damn..I like to believe that is why it's among the longest you have written yet in this series... I have been looking forward to Ned and Will meeting...I must admit it went differently to how I imagined it... That closing scene however left me worried and scared in equal measure....it drove home how fragile mental health can be . My most favourite scene is the bitch take down of Sarah McDermot...She had it coming ..She only has herself to blame😂😂 Now two pesky vermin remain......for now...Hale and Abernathy..

I like to believe this is the chapter when Julian Hayes finally learns he was just a place holder in this family...There is no coming back from that for this family except for the grandma. That whole speech by Robert Hayes at the party was an exercise in cringe..I can imagine the double whammy of pain and betrayal that Julian must be going through...To work hard at something,pour all your creative effort and passion ,only to find out in public that you were just a seat filler for someone.. that you have been preparing for someone to take credit for all your effort. You have written shitty characters over the years but Robert Hayes seems to be in a class of his own...I like to believe that with his own actions in this chapter he caused irreparable damage to his relationship with Julian. I don't think personally I would have anything to do with my family if they treated me like that .

I know we always try to avoid real politics ..but I feel like right now in Europe the only leaders who seem to have some bit of spine are Tusk and Rutte...the others are just spineless...Don't even get me started on the cartoons in Brussels .

This is hands down my best chapter of Carter's throne so far ....I can't believe am saying this but my eyes were literally wet when I read this chapter...Especially the scenes in the Hague of PM Mark Rutte and then the ending scenes...This was so beautiful...Like Will and Lisa ,I felt the hope blossom anew... My best part is how you portrayed the impotence of NATO and the UN in this and last chapters....it's fiction but you could not have clearly stated how the bureaucracy of these two organisations stiffles their role.. Sometimes I wish there was a real politician reading this story....they could stand to learn something important.... Thank you!
