Amazing chapter, so many different factions controlling their own little part of the magical realm here. The sheer power that Alex has, tamed and possibly directed by Jacques. It seems that when Jacques is able to connect with the magic hand that he is missing, he will be able to control magic, he just doesn’t know about that yet. Now on to learning about magic for the boys, and maybe some intimacy? -
I got the sense that Alan was a little jealous of Jordan being friendly with Cal… Brandi is quite a character.

Gray is fortunate to have a mostly loving and supportive family. The Uncle promising to hound him till he gets tested is good to.

The boys are back together, and Jacques seemed genuinely apologetic for running out on Alex. Now there is something else the other mystical people in the area want to evaluate these two.

It took courage for Tanner to come out to Robbie, and explain himself, even though he is going to continue the charade of pretending to be straight, just for the money. We don’t seem to have a timeframe reference for when this is taking place, so it could have been in a time that being out was truly an issue.

So much more here to Ben’s origin story as an Episcopal priest. And all of the self doubt he went through when Sam left the hospital with Max. This is leading up to a very exciting wedding.

I love this world, and Richard is adapting well. What is he studying at university? His quick grasp of diplomacy is going to be endearing, and he seems to be really good with children. Which seems to be a plus for those on the high council. He and Lucien are talking their time getting to know each other. Will his past as an escort come up as an issue?

Seems like giving both Ethan and Harry drugs was a definite plot to get Ethan mated…. And out of the business. If I’m remembering correctly if he mates with any Alpha, his career is over. But if he’s mated to a recessive alpha, is it the same? Seem like he is so emotional over being constantly manipulated and only being told partial truths. Does his contract cover company malfeasance? That seems like what happened. Why wasn’t Lanus there today, that seems suspicious too. -

Are Reilly’s parents still alive? Is so aren’t they fairys too? great defensive fighting by everyone. They just have to last the day for the witch to no longer be a threat. Christmas is coming. Can Santa still make Reilly the next Santa? I don’t think there will be a problem with different lifespans any longer. -
