I agree with the continuation of the story. They need some time to heal. Then maybe they can come back together. It may be a concern that Laura or Dexter will not let Carter see the boys, hopefully Jeff will help with that. Is Jeff having feelings for Carter? He has been extremely supportive through the whole story. So many unanswered questions.

Jake was nothing but a gentleman in his interaction with Nate and Danny. Helping Danny explore his feelings, letting Nate get used to being around, while teasing him. Then helping Danny with his artwork. The very generous offer to paint them. Danny’s step-dad was way over the line groping him…. Danny running to where he felt safe, with Jake.

Wow, that is a doozy of a cliffhanger. First Killian’s realization he is gay, then Asher not wanting to loose him as a friend, was that why he told the other guys about Killian and Seth meeting? The confrontation at the car. It didn’t seem like Killian knew who the attacker was.

Just when they thought the were safe Lopez found them and hurt Jeremy. Distracted by trying to kill Jeremy, Carter found the gun and the courage to shoot and kill Lopez, where are the henchmen? Will the sound of the gunfire attract the search party to save them? -
Great idea to transport the people who need to help you to space. Even 5he short teleport grabbed attention, but was not enough. Hopefully now Brett will be able to address the right people at the UN. It will be interesting to see where that leads.

Excellent first date! Fun locations with healthy food options, so they are both on the same page with that. Looking forward to the next date, but they didn’t set that up yet. Maybe seeing each other at the bar Friday night?

Excellent chapter, things at first seemed bad, we’re turned around. With the right counsel they were able to take over the business that had fired one, and start a restaurant next to uncles’s bar, and rescued two boys who needed a loving home.

Sad that Seth move from one bad situation to another one where people were treating him like a pariah. Killian being the only one to to befriend him. Then the kiss and later realizing he may be attracted to boys…

Thanks for this story, involving a harsh topic. In the end the perpetrators got their dues. The children survived each with their own issues, but did well and Brendan was a good parent. Nice that you tied up all of their lives in the epilogue.- 60 comments

At least the boys seem safe now. Josel not trusting anyone at this point, but who could blame him after what they have been through. The rescue with the birds was intense. Josel does not understand how he was being used by Jolanda, and really is better off with this group who seem to know his father. Zdain will hopefully pull through. Maybe he heard Josel’s kind words. They both need friends.

After a rocky start at school, the boys seemed to connect at the beach.

Marc is being helped by his family to kick start his mining operation. The board meeting was not as boring as he initially thought, with being able to address people renting ships and not returning them ready for the next renter. He will be catching up with his friends soon…

Todd had the courage to tell Barrett, he has feelings for him. Now it’s Barrett’s turn to do something with that information. The art exhibition was interesting and may lead to more work for Todd, their short visit to the Mural got them to know a bit more about each other too. Hopefully the search for his birth mother will turn out well for Barrett. There are so many reasons someone gives up their child…

If Carter doesn’t have any pain, then maybe he wasn’t raped like is seemed what Jeremy had done. If Carter had been so drunk he couldn’t remember, ha was not likely a willing participant in whatever happened. Jeremy need serious help. And Carter is kidnapped by a psychopath who tried killing him before. How did they know about his fears to enact this possible murder scene. Could it just be his imagination and fear making this up? Scary cliffhanger?

Interesting start to this short story. Something telling about no report of man overboard. Is he going to be reported dead for someone to try and collect insurance? Not like Logan’s relationship seemed good at all. Maybe this time together will have them become friends, and maybe more.

This chapter confirmed my suspicions of this being the beginning of a Dom/Sub relationship. Alan sure knows what he wants and is taking Cal on an adventure.

Fantastic ending to this book. Now on to Janek and Hugo as possible mates… I’m guessing they didn’t have a dream like Marc did, or they would know something more. Interesting shifting a merchant ship to an intelligence gathering ship.

Finally we get a yes to the marriage proposal. And they are having a baby. The guys need to break in that new bed and mattress…. Just saying.

It was a Fantastic visit for the old friends. Lukas and Christoph finally expressed their feelings for each other. Now to figure out what Lucas wants to do with his life after helping Severin recover.

This does seem like it may be a change in their relationship. And hopefully Todd can tell Barrett about his prior feelings. And Barrett can acknowledge his growing interest…

So they both jumped to wrong conclusions, maybe that will teach them to talk with each other in the future.

Wow, didn’t see that coming. What did Carter tell Jeremy? Was the car accident intentional, after his suicide attempt? So many questions. The aunt is a totally selfish person. He is better off without her, but still feels the family connection.

I bet Sabrina knew exactly what she was doing setting Barrett up. And the table with an old friend was just perfect for her to make a quick exit. Seems like there may have been some internalized homophobia that Barrett was dealing with when he was around Todd previously, and Todd is unaware of the changes he has made.
