A very fun short story. Magical without any magic. The beginning I thought there may be some sorcery, but none was needed to enchant these young men to love.

It looks promising that Matt will now be getting official documents. I think he’s being impetus wanting to leave right away. Trying to go find Ahmet is going to be a challenge, maybe he could ask Andrew to go with. I have a feeling when he finds Ahmet it will not be a warm welcome that he anticipates. With no income prospects, and strong family ties to keep Ahmet in Turkey anything more would be a huge risk for him to leave with Matt. Looking forward to seeing where this goes.

Great ending. Glad that Jamie was found, and the people responsible were prosecuted. They went on to live their lives together.

Love the short story, interesting kind of “kin” different kinds of elemental characteristics and accompanying abilities. Love the flirting. not a clue to the author and I’ve read a lot of you all’s work.

Is is awesome that Matt is now at Andrew’s home, even if he doesn’t know how safe he is. I was wondering about the amount paid at the auction, it didn’t seem like a lot to me, and this delivery by boat took 3 guys and a lot of fuel from where he was held. They have to be making a profit. Glad he had Davis there to keep him calm and teach basic meditation.

Kai’s chapter is half Megan and Callum, and hilarious. Doc is straight forward about sex between men, even has a gay brother. Kai is a top, but is Adam a total bottom? Could be interesting when they get there. Both being very respectful, wanting this to be a lasting relationship.

Both men had issues with their fathers, albeit for different reasons, and backgrounds. The fact they are facing and trying to reconcile this for themselves is good for a better future together, I think. With the artwork project completed, what will they work on next?

Ricky seems more bisexual than gay, if he was sleeping with female cast members, and male cast members. Still something of a coming out regardless. He does seem to want to have some stability, and not be traveling like he did before. Larry seems more interested in music production, and money than what Ricky wants.

Jem stepping in front of Bzup to protect him from an aggressive Azim is proofing his words with action. Hopefully non of the other humans shoot Azim… this chapter has a lot of soul searching and understanding of the two versions of Bzup people.

Kai loves this man, was afraid of possibly being rejected, but found just the opposite. Seems like soulmates who just had to find each other. The boat seems like an aesthetic to replace the sunken one. Love how they are comfortable around each other and taking time to get to know each other even more.

Andy did the right thing, even if illegal. He had the means, and will help Matt, as much as he can. There will be a lot of emotional trauma to deal with in addition to his physical condition. Last we heard he was not eating well as a strategy to be less attractive to his owner. Maybe that worked, which is why he was on the marketplace. Here’s to hoping that things get better for both of them. Hopefully Ahmet is still alive. If he got found out, that would be very dangerous.

This discussion on reproduction is interesting. Some kind of cloning? If Bzup-kind have been there for like 300 years, that’s a long time to remain hidden. What have they learned of the other life forms on the planet. They must have some need of sustenance like the seafood Bzup has gladly been eating. They have not tried giving him any land animals to eat yet… also wondering about that initial message Bzup sent after he was let out… was that an I’m safe made contact message? This is so interesting, being in a first contact situation. Surprised the scientists have not set Bzup up with something like their children’s education system for him to do some self paced learning yet. That would surely speed up the communication learning.

Beautiful ending, especially after that cliffhanger in the last chapter. It seems they both feel the same way about wanting to stay with the other. Especially after emerging from the rip tide. looking forward to the next story in the series.

This seems like a much better use of the property. Like the addition of the boat. There’s a lot to keep everyone occupied.

Leave us hanging here, wanting so much more. Kai finally told his siblings and that seemed to go well. Can’t wait till he gets to the house.
