Yes, not everyone sees a story in the same light and has different takes on what they would have preferred to see. I think even J.K. Rowlings faced such criticism as well. For this anthology, however, I was trying to come up with a more likely scenario of something that could actually threaten the earth. I hope I accomplished that goal.

Kitt, there seems to be a elitist movement going on so people can justify making excessive incomes, explains their unconscionable antics or allowing them to dump on others by blaming those in dire straights that it is all their fault. It makes them feel better about themselves and they don't need to show any empathy or concern for anyone else.

Billy, your loss here on GA will leave a large hole, whether you realize it now or not. Please hang in there and maybe things will improve. Life is full of highs and lows, just don't go out on one of the low notes. I wish you the best whatever you decide to do.

Wayne, hang in there. I've been there and heard the over qualified crap too. Even left a bunch of things off my resume after that to compensate, but it didn't help either. I wish you the best and wish I could do more to help.

A very lucky lad indeed. To have lived through something that terrible and then survived the World War as well to live to be 92 tells of a remarkable and very fortunate life. Regrettably, there are many others whose lives were not that blessed.
